  • what a sweet song................

  • Can someone please tell me the name of this song?!?!?

  • predisposition to to evil cannot be corrected by just words. Please pursure the Truth and personel piety so Alloho can open the eyes of Human Beings. Please don't attack Syrian Orthodox Church. If it wasn't for the Muslims, Oriental Orthodox churches would have been wiped out by Catholics and Protestant forces. Please be tolerant.

  • I love the music it is beautiful. Is there any place you can get a cd of this type of music?

  • Jesus Christ is not seen anywhere, neither in the net or in Kolenchery.

Now I feel proud of being Catholic.

    Dr.K.J.Mathai

  • @kjmdmo

proud of being slave of parankis. way to go!

  • may god pour his blessing on my christian brothers and sisters i am ASSYRIAN and bleesed is he who is not ashamed to be christian

  • Beautiful! God is everywhere...jesus was one of many highly evolved spiritual beings to give us the messages of god...nothing more! We are all sons and daughters of god....and should love each other more and spend less time being critical, unkind, thoughtless etc.

  • @sherlock17783 - Jesus is NOT one of the many evolved spiritua beings . Jesus is God .

  • God bless you, through His Son, Jesus Christ! Awesome heritage, faith, and traditions.

  • I feel proud to be a Jacobite Syrian Christian...

  • Malankara Orthodox Church and Malankara Jacobite Church must Unite!

  • @02kazak yes i totally agree ! one united church there in India against radicals , full support from Romania with prayers

  • @02kazak Don't you remember many time it happened. But the "Indian Orthodox"(the latest name) Doesn't want any foregin leaders to rule the Church. As a mear politician in India, they allways play the dirty game for the Chair. But they should remember the Christianity came from abroad. So not the Syrians, the Indian Orthodoxs should rethink.

  • all the churches shown in this video are in india....

  • Reject monophysite heresy!! Long live holy Chalkhedon !!!

  • @SerbianWolhv Never... Chalcedon was not a true ecuminical synod.. therefore.. none of the decisions taken at this synod are true.. or right...

  • @shawnshaji161 It was ecumenical cause all representatives of all churches were there, and therefore,it is right, canonical and dogmatical, which converts pseudo-cyrilicism or monophysisism into heresy, guilty most for illegal shysm, taking pagan Platonistic philosopy into faith, and violence used in order to spread heretical teachings of Eutihius such as Latocinium, and torture of patriarch Flavian

  • @SerbianWolhv First off.. I am a Syrian Orthodox Christian and none of the Oriental Orthodox churches went to the so-called ecumenical council.. This was just an attempt by Pope Leo to get back at St. Cyril because he rejected the Tome of Leo to be read at the Council of Ephesus.. If Catholics believe that Jesus was God.. then tell me one thing.. How can God create himself.. He can't.. So that means Jesus was never created.. He always was just like the Father Almighty...

  • @shawnshaji161 Jesus was God,yes, but also a man at the same time, because if he was just a God His Divinity would destroy Earth by His Force,He also wouldn't need virgin Mary for Theothokos, and He couldn't save us,unless he has taken full human nature and being the full God at the same time.Your logic leads that if Christ is only God,he couldn't be born by human female,or he is just a man, which is Nestorianism

  • where is the church at 0:50?

  • @shawnshaji161 ,that's st.mary's church pallikkara[morakkala] in Ernakulam district,kerala-my parish church

  • @minunithin ok thanks

  • from where can i download this song

  • From where can i download this song

  • Can anyone tell me what this song in the video is called.

  • Those who write on somebodyelse's webpages, would you please refer historical dates for accuracy before writing expert comments here. Hating is one thing, historical dates entirely different. Let us not mix up things that happened centuries apart.

  • What amazes me is the historic fact that a Hindu majority country like India was blessed with a first generation apostle who saw, talked to and lived with Jesus Christ while most of today's Christian majority countries didn't get that privilege and had to be served by second or third generation saints. But I don't know why you guys fight to portray yourself as the real first church? Didn't Jesus say," Those who come first can also be the last.?" Please don't insult His name by egoistic talks.

  • Only Mar Thoma church is truely independent church. (also Thozhiyoor)-they only have the guts to say that they are the followers of Thomas.

  • @indiastar111

lol if you really beleive that, i think even you guys know how the marthoma church started and its watered down beliefs.

  • @poodleweena what u mean by that? Mar Thoma church was established because people wanted to purify the church from outside influvences....like catholics or orthodox churches. Mar Thoma church was closer to Church of East/assyrian/Nestorian church earlier(but they do not interfear in the internal matters of Indian church which was established by Thomas). They have nothing to do with Peter and his followers.

  • I never realized how beautiful Syriac sounds. The only time I hear some Syriac words is at church, but I never heard it as a song.

  • Worship that stands the test of time!

  • Beatiful! Greetings from Orthodox Serbia!

  • Hello from a Serbian American Orthodox Christian!

  • thank you for this video! very beautiful.

  • beautiful.

  • God Bless You !

Greetings from Polish Roman Catholic !.

  • Greeting from SERBIAN Orthodox Cristian.

  • greetings from Romania Pacem pe Pamant si cer !! Domnul sa va binecuvinteze !! this is the real religion orthodoxy

  • iam a vedanta but i immensely respect the old indian Orthodox Church since they disseminates the message of secularism by imbibing values of Indian culture with the teachings of LORD JESUS CHRIST. GOD BLESS THE COMMUNITY.

  • It is Graceful!

    Greeting from Ethiopian Orthodox Cristian.

  • We also use big coloured umbrellas like in Ethiopia

  • I am in awe of your church's aesthetic. It is truly a hallowing of all that is beautiful and noble in creation for the glory of God. Thank you, and may the Lord's blessings be upon you. From a Latin Catholic.

  • this is my view on things on earth, the way i see it, its like we all give fame to things on earth, and we give fame to man, like president, signers, stars, actors, movies, super hero, these are all Satan work, and he succeeding so far, its like a fog, for not seeing, or believing, or giving attention, or interest, to the truth, the light, of Jesus Christ.

  • Agreed!

  • Can anyone post the lyrics or send me the syriac text of this hymn? I would be really happy!!!!! THANKS!!!

  • Hey man.. Syrian Orthodox Church and Jacobite church is really the same... Jacobite church is named after Jacob Burdono. Indian orthodox, as u called, is not really Syrian Orthodox...

  • either way what ever its called now

it use to be called Assyrian Orthodox church

  • Comment removed

  • Do u knw 1 thing? The syrian christians in the early time is really the Jacobite christians. Do u knw wat is the meaning of Orthodox? It means "True Faith" and our church is keeping our faith for 2000 yrs and will keep dat always...

  • Who is really brainwashed people... From the beginning of this church, we r under the Patriarch of Antioch.. Our church is still under him... The people who is brainwash actually made the nw church now.

  • @Assyria4eva

we know our history, are u even malayali?

  • @poodleweena

go look at what the name of your current patriarch's name was before he changed it

  • is there a difference between greek and syric orthodox chirch.

  • even though both are orthodox churches, Greek Orthodox is a part of eastern orthodox church, where as Syrian orthodox church is a part of oriental orthodox church...

  • Let's love each other stop hate and Rasism in all the world.

  • I second you brother.

Let each of us take a pledge to fight the dirty Satan of Racism with the love of Jesus.

  • God bless! Indian Arab and African the pride of African christianity is egyptian kopthic.

  • Sorry brother i am not with you on this.

India is a great multi cultural land, hinduism is a peace loving religion.

as for Christians they face no persecution here and live as equall citizens with full rights.

thanks to the hindus of India who value democracy and freedoms.

  • @mathai321 I do not agree with his idea about Indians but it indeed is true that tens and thousands of Indian Christian face persecution from Hindu nationalists and radicals with which the government of India fails to protect.

  • @MarkMayoMagallanes: Brother i speak from my experience of spending almost all of my life here in India.India is a Wonderful land, we are truly a multicultural society. There is always, everywhere a resistance to new cultural ideas and practices but on the whole the vast majority of people are secular and peace loving.

The peace loving majority cannot be blamed for the actions of the few.

  • @mathai321 Wrong. Majority of Hindus are ridden with caste system and false worship. It is well known that the Orthodox church and Jacobites have compromised the preaching of the gospel for over 1,500 years, that is why you are treated "very well" by the Hindus. For low caste Hindus life is a daily hell. Jacobites did nothing to combat casteism or killings even in their own state of kerala, where till 1930s, anyone approaching 20 feet near Brahmins were killed. Please stop misleading people

  • Mathai don't even compare India with truly Christianized and multicultural nations such as Australia or Canada or anywhere, India is racked with civil conflicts, wars, caste hatred, and even inter-communal hatred, most people just stay to themselves, but inside no one likes each other. Just because you had a wonderful time does not mean the entire land is like that, you speak your experiences. many of us have worked, involved and seen India and worked with it's low caste Hindus all over.

  • @MarkMayoMagallanes = you have spoken correctly mark, for most of the genuine Christians, and converts there is daily persecution, for low caste Hindus there is a lot of killings, go to Bihar, or any of the nothern states. Even in Kerala there is heavy caste based discrimination, where low caste people were subjugated by the upper castes. These Orthodox Christians largely have sided with the Hindu upper class elite, in return for land and resources and money. This multculti India is a farce.

  • that is a bad way of thinking brother. here in kerala we ( hindus and christions) are living in harmony and our hindu brothers are broad minded peace loving people.

  • @bewow361 Wow I cant believe you said that "unclean religions" as in Hindus. Bro, Hindus kings allowed St. Thomas and early Christains in India to create Churches there and convert. When Islamic Arabs were destroying pre-Islamic Middle east the Jews,Zoroastrians,Christians, etc, etc, etc fled to India and were allowed to say in India.Right know Hindus number 800+million in India they can exterminated everyone at will no problem, but they show more tolerance then any other group of people.

  • @JacobTheIndoAmerican hi iam frm india and as far as my belief and faith i would say only a one sentence which i read frm a famous Indian philosphers life which said that feeble minded people shall always try to find what is abhorrent in any religion while the good shall always try to collect how the good of man can be done.

  • we have many kind orthodox culture christianity Greek,Armenia,Israel orthodox i like all orthodox religion but mostly i like Syriac arab orthodox and Russian slav Orthodox they have beautiful orthodox culture

  • Turn to Orthodox Church to be united again.

  • that's funny, cause it wasn't the jacobites who decided to leave.

  • God bless all orthodox !! it is impresive how you survived my friends !!

  • Unite with orthodoxy my friends !! you are too orthodox but accpet the Greek orthodox !!

  • All these problems were made by Vattasseril Geevarghese Mar Dionysius who did not follow the protocol of the Church, many people benefited from this rift in the Church and thus it continues. Indian Orthodox Group is now too extreme and will not settle for anything other than total independence. They want no part of the Syrian Church, which we the Jacobites will never agree too, as we hold true to the faith handed by our forefathers.

  • very well said.

  • @uniden1970

Very well spoken, brothers of the same, true faith.

  • Let this peace of God pours into the heart of all,why this peace is not existing between these two brotheren churches, the believers must understand why the two factions fight, even extreme crminal activities.

  • wow nice music...its in syriac right ...where waz it sung..in india?....or in syria/iraq?

  • actually it is sung by the childrens choir of St peter and St Paul church at Sweden.

  • sorry 2012, the kingdoms number is up and the queendom begins

  • first read, learn about us and then comment. we are not fully indian, we are a mix of the locals, the jews who converted and the assyrians/amernians who migrated

  • if it werent for the portuguese, we would still be speaking aramaic at home

  • which is the second song????

  • there is only 1 song.

the song is 'to ba shlom'.

    meaning on you be peace.

it is sung for our high priests.

the language is a dialect of aramaic used by syrian christians and judaic christians though out the world

  • bless you!

  • Who is this dirty venomous creature Rahulgaploo, he know nothing abt Kerala here we all live as brothers we respect other religions also

  • What is the history of the division between the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, why are the Saint Thomas Christians in India divided up into different factions?

  • The Church has dioceses in most parts of India as well as in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Western Europe, and the Persian Gulf nations.

Malankara is one of the churches that are part of Saint Thomas Christians, tracing their origins to St. Thomas the Apostle who, according to tradition, came to India in AD 52.

  • The Jacobite Syrian Christian Church, is the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in Kerala, India. It is part of the Syriac Orthodox Church, with the Patriarch of Antioch, Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, as its supreme head. The local head of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church in Malankara is the Catholicos, Baselios Thomas I, ordained by and accountable to the Patriarch of Antioch. Some estimate that the church has about 2.5 million members globally.

  • The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (also known as the Malankara Orthodox Church, Orthodox Church of the East, Orthodox Syrian Church of the East,The Indian Orthodox Church) is an autocephalous church and a prominent member of the Oriental Orthodox Church family in Christianity, founded by St. Thomas, the Disciple of Christ in A.D. 52.

  • This is wrong, the The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (also known as the Malankara Orthodox Church, Orthodox Church of the East, Orthodox Syrian Church of the East,The Indian Orthodox Church is not found by St Thomas in AD 52 It is formed by Vattasseril Dianosious in 1905, after quarreling with the patriach

    do not propogate wrong stories.

  • i love how it ended with 'after quarreling with the patriach'. was there any need for that?

  • You should seek some peace in your heart and mind since you are so full of venom and hate

  • This is well done. Too bad there are prejudiced and hateful people around the world even in the hindu religion which proclaims peace.

  • who the hell told you that hindus are only indians. i'm a christian living in kerala my grandpa was a freedom fighter, three of my uncles are in the INDIAN ARMY, do you know blind eyed.

  • What language is this?

  • its syriac a dialect of aramic which jesus him self spoke

  • God bless you brother. Great video

  • this space suppose to be talking about what is heard.

not somthing petrifying in Rahul kapalikans mind

  • Prof. William J. Fulco: "Preserve the Aramaic language and traditions at all cost! DO not let the splendid Aramaic become endangered. It is wonderful language that links us back to Jesus and centuries of Christian history. To lose that connection would be a tragedy".

  • Hi My name is Nadia and i am eritrean orthodox,i like the song its nice and beautiful May our virgin mother ST.Mary with her son jesus christ be with all orthodox christian Amen.
