No, there is no real CURE for diabetes, regardless of Type I or Type II (which I have.)
My A1c is now in completely NORMAL ranges due to healthier living, but if I ever went back to old habits, the problems will return.
I'm well-controlled, but certainly not cured. Anyone who says it can be "cured" or "reversed" is full of it. It can be controlled, and as long as you CONTINUE to control it, your actual sugar levels can be quite healthy and normal. Hope that helps.
I'm glad this works for some people, but unfortunately it didn't for me. The only thing the Cinnamon did was give me heart burn. I used it with a low carb diet & exercise every day..but it didn't work. I'm taking a boatload of sugar lowering herbs daily..and while they do help..it's still a daily struggle. But thanks for the info and glad it's helping others.

@ThePeoplesChemist hey man love the videos but watch how you label your videos. You can't say something is a cure unless it's gone through clinical trials you could get sued by the pharmaceutical companies. It happens all the time.
@poonafink Thanks. Didn't you see my comment below to alphaditto? What are now? A bunch of Internet pussies scared to say the wrong word? If something reverses high blood sugar and insulin resistance, it's a fucking cure.
My freind is off of his diabetic meds due to God answering our prayers, and him eating 500mgs of cinnimin before each meal. His sugar is completely normal in under 2 weeks! This so amazing because his sugar was so out of control even on the meds. He says he eats anything he wants now. (refined sugar). Thank you for the great ideas for non fruit snacks...be well everyone..
The other key for me (wish youtube allowed longer comments) was exercise.
Low-Carb (all carb becomes glucose, period), healthy fats, low-GI fruit in moderate (small and infrequent) quantities, and decent protein for the diet, and regular (daily) exercise.
Cinnamon, as mentioned, helps - the video mentions tea -I also like mine in my protein drinks. Most diabetics are also low in vitamin-d... take a supplement with healthy fats (it's fat soluble).
i love to eat fruit all day long. i thought i wasn't eating fattening food and yet I can't loose weight. I think it may be the sugar . i wonder what i should replace it with?
@marls10191 too much fruit is too much sugar, yup. I eat fruit in moderation, myself (but I'm a type 2 diabetic, so I need to watch sugars, even natural ones...)
Replace it with some healthy veggie snacks - I personally like celery with a little natural peanut butter or some raw carrots / broccoli with some cream cheese based dip.
I developed Type 2 diabetes after years of inactivity (due to a spinal condition) and eating a poor diet high in refined carbs. I never ate much sugar, but didn't understand that white breads (like burger buns) spike you as high or HIGHER than sugar.
The key for me was 1. Diet - cut out all refined CRAP. No sugar except some low-GI fruit. I eat organic veggies but not starches like potatoes or corn. I also eat decent meat - grass fed, free range, etc. Works great.
I have diabetes and I have been doing a juice fast for the last 5 days and I have seen a dramatic increase in energy and my bloodsugars. I plan on doing it for 60 days. If you are interested, you should follow me on my channel!
Directly telling people to "replace" their medication is not responsible, and very illegal as you are not a doctor. You might want to think about your wording before you get hit with a Law Suit.
@alphaditto there could be a law suit, but it's time for people to wake up and stop going along with mainstream drink diet soda medical advice. The medicines only work to expand wallets of drug companies. He's giving helpful advice, because from my experience, doctors are either clueless about some things or scared they'll lose their license by ignoring the status quo.
@alphaditto Do the math dimbulb, home cooking with lots of spices has produced more healthy people over the years than any man-made drug. In fact, for each one healthy person due to spices like cinnamon, rosemary, garlic, onion, milk thistle and hawthornberry to name a few there are at least 20 DEAD people from drugs issued by Corporate owned-enslaved doctors pushing the pills so the rich get richer. I'm tired of people like you supporting the death of millions. Go peddle your pills to a lawyer!
@alphaditto Responisble? Oh yes I see, that is what a doctor is considered to be. Doctors are responsible for prescribing the pills that kill us and then winning the lawsuits against us when the drugs destroy families by killing or maiming love-ones of whom they seek restitution for. If you could only see the truth in what you are saying, corporate greed is the motive behind every pill being pushed.
@alphaditto Hey, guess what... I was put on medication, and told I'd likely need insulin... And now I don't need ANY meds, just my regular supplements - which include cinnamon. So in SOME cases, he's precisely right.
Losing nearly 100 lbs (or however much a person needs to lose, about 100lbs in my case), proper diet (eliminate refined carbs, get adequate fiber, healthy fats and proteins, including any needed supplements), regular (daily) exercise, will control it quite well.
What I'm curious about is if there are different sorts of cinnamon? If so, is there any difference in which one to use best (better quality, better substance)?
@sultanchamp Yes, cinnamon is safe for someone with hypoglycaemia. It helps me a lot. Besides that, I skip the processed food as much as possible. Try to start your meal with enzymes too (salad, raw vegetables, fresh juice with the flesh of the fruit, olives etc.). Cinnamon contains chromium polypicolinate which is the working part to lower your bloodsugar. So, when your out of cinnamon, try using natural chromium polypicolinate.
It's also very recommended to drink a lot of water or natural herbal tea. I drink 6 cups of water and 2 cups of Glucole tea from Galilee Tisanes every day.

@BorderCityBandit Lots of lettuce is rather cheap and filling with no carbs, all you need to do is spread something on it. Celery is good and has anti-oxidants, Apples are rather cheap. I got TONS of green tea at the dollar store. If you try without the drops, then 1000-1300 calories would work. Only for 2-3 weeks at a time, take a break and then hit it again. If you have to eat after 7 then eat light foods, no cal jello, celery, or apples with green tea.
Does cinnamon work with hyperglycemia? My mother is hovering around 220 after taking prescribed insulin drugs. She was over 400. Should I recommend her to take cinnamon.
@akwolfsong Why thank you for your reply. My mom just found out she has uterine sarcoma cancer, so we are searching for a cure for that now. Stay Safe my friend. I hope the People's Chemist could help me on this.
@vinny111 I completely agree. I cant believe people tell diabetics to get off of fruit. Raw vegan diet rich in raw fruit and vegetables is the way to go. Animal protein and refined carbs are the enemy.
@Hayesy15 That's not quite fair. There's genetic pre-disposition that can't be helped or controlled. And I know three people who have always had good diets and developed it. I also know people who eat crap all the time who don't have it...
Guess all monkeys must be diabetic too then :p I read that a cab driver in the Philippines has been eating 10 to 15 bananas a day for the past 25years with nothing but good health. Personally, I suggest people eat 2 meals a day (rather than 3), and to eat the last meal no later than 6PM to give your body plenty of time to do its thing until your next meal the next day.
My friend suffers from arthritis. He uses a mixture of cinnamon and honey in his tea. He told me just today that he is no longer on meds and feels good.
I use cinnamon all the time with a meal. I used to inject 60 units insulin in the morning and 10 units after each meal. I am now down to 20 units am, 10 each meal and 15 at night. Loads better then what I used to have to inject. And, my glucose leves went from 200 before meals - to now 120, and 400 after meal to 230 . still high, but its improving. and I am waking up with my blood sugars at 109 average. not bad still considering what it was.
Thanks so much for your info which I'll pass on to a friend.
I'm just learning about this subject, but logic tells me that a drastic change in
lifestyle habits and education from authentic sources in what foods are essential for optimum health especially during stress, would help to heal or greatly reduce this disease.
I'M out of medication thanks to this man ,, i'm in ,no longer need of metformin...my own dr said to me, i will never get better in fact i wll be needing insullin , later in life . so i fired the guy, i' started takin cinnamon ,my sugar levels are 70'80' 120' so im happy i evven lost some pounds..from size 38, down to 34 , in 2 months

Hi PChemist, My friend has diabetes. I really don't want him to die. He just started insulin, after much balking. I hate to tell him he is doing it for nothing but if he is doing the insulin and it is actually hurtful I will tell him. I want to give him all the info that I can. Will the cinnamon still work if he is on insulin? I don't want advice him to stop what a doc ordered.
i got my friend on cinnamin just ordinary cinnamon from super market ,shes a diabetic with reading of 36 in the mornings ,3 days she has been on it and her reading are 11 and dont change ,she looks better and feels better ,,great stuff ,thanks

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum, synonym C. zeylanicum) is a small evergreen tree belonging to the family Lauraceae, native to Sri Lanka,[1] or the spice obtained from the tree's bark. It is often confused with other similar species and the similar spices derived from them, such as Cassia and Cinnamomum burmannii, which are often called cinnamon too.
the kind sold in stores is Cassia . you want the other , verum.
i read in an altenative medical newsletter that there are 2 types of cinnamon and the kind you find in a grocery store is NOT the kind to use for this problem.
I was diagnosed type 2 last year,& had been near sighted over 30 years. I left the hospital since they did not lower my sugar level at all (about 300) with insulin shots & metformin pills. At home I only ate chili I made of kidney beans, canned tuna, cinnamon, mushroons, red onions & black & hot pepper. No salt. Small amounts 6 times a day. My blood sugar came down & in about 7 days I woke up with 20/20 sharp vision! I did not know cinnamon was crucial so I stopped using it. I will use it now!
Glad to hear that natural food products help you. Alpha Lipoic Acid a strong antioxidant and Chromium Picolinate
helps to reduce your BG level to normal in 30 days too. Better still buy supplement Dbethics that has six vital ingredients to help your BG level to normal.
I am a type2 Diabetic and just have started taking cinnamon extract pills with my meals for the last 3 weeks and this is NO JOKE... I was taking ALA and switched to natural Cinnamon, after 3 weeks I've gotten my glucose lower than with the ALA. I'm at 150-160, not exactly perfect but hopefully I can get it to at least 120 and I'll be happy. Thanks again Shane!
Hi tinoDUB why don'y you give dbethics a try heard it may help you achieve your goal to bring down to about 90. No risk with money back guarantee. This dbethics is from Switzerland too
I've been feeling very weak lately, and my recent fasting glucose was 120, which was a shocker. I'm not yet diagnosed with type ll diabetes. I saw this vid 2 nights ago, and decided to try the cinnamon. It works! I felt so much better throughout the day! I felt like myself again. I'm gonna keep using it to see how I feel in about 2 weeks. Who would have known? Cinnamon!!
fruits are full of sugar. doesn't matter if it's natural sugar. our bodies aren't designed to handle that much sugar. just stating what i've read and i must say i've read a LOT.
@Injigo Get off the fruit is like the worst advise possible. Diabetes/hypoglycemia is cured on a low fat, high carb, vegan/raw vegan diet. Fruit is your friend. Fruit is natures gift. Check out Gabriel Cousens and Neal Barnard here on Youtube for proven ways to cure diabetes. High fat diet compromises insulin production. Ever wondered why obesity increases risk for diabetes.

(Part 3 of 3) 170 on the hi & 72 on the low. 3 reading/day min. sometimes I use 2 meters to compare & I can have a 50 point difference with the same blood sample. My A1C went from 9.3 to 8.1 in 2 months & will be tested again in 3 weeks. I am also on 500 mg niaspan 1/day. Cinnamon tabs 1000mg/day. Trigs are now in the normal range & Col. is 172.
(Part 2 of 3) I exercise on my total gym most every other day at least 10 to 20 min. & swim along with water-exercise 3-4 times/week for 1 to 2 hrs each session without exception.
Dr. added Glipizide to my daily meds 2 months ago & it drops my sugar like a rock, sometimes to where I need honey to get it up again, but cannot get any consistent readings.
I am a 56 yr old male & new to this Type II disease. After knee surgery I went up 60 lbs in 18 months to 425 lbs in Nov 2008. Blood glucose readings were 300 to 400 then & now I am 375 lbs & gaining muscle mass while losing fat. My clinic Dr. says eat fruit. I do. Several/day. Ellison says get off the fruit. I am so confused about diet & this fruit thing.
I am on Metformin 1000mg/dayx2 with meals, My blood sugar is all over the place. (part 1 of 3)
Among those insulin resistant, fructose can lead to the formation of age-accelerating, advanced glycation end (AGE) products. diabetics must avoid fruit until they have increased their sensitivity to insulin.
Good times, thanks for the video. Yes, very widely known about cinnamon (in my circle, anyway), and it does work with time and effort. But other things need to be done as well. But I did want to comment on the fruit thing. The type of sugar that fruit contains is fructose, which doesn't require insulin to break it down or metabolize it. Diabetics not only can eat fruit, but need it for it's other benefits. Thanks again.

Yes cinnamon is powerful for diabetes and yes it might get you off drugs. However, no one should ever stop taking their drugs without first talking to their docs. If you want to use cinnamon or any herb or supplement let your doc know...... your doc will need to be aware to adjust your drug dose. And you must follow a sane, healthy diet! I recommend the book "Living the Low Carb Life by Bowden to my clients.
No I'm not a doc I'm a Holistic Nutritionist and a Respiratory therapist..... and after a long battle with Lupus I'm in remission and off all drugs thanks to nutrition and healthy supplements. And yes the less pharmaceutical use the better ... but people turning to more natural means to regain/support their wellness should work with their doc in decreasing their meds and NOT do it on their own.
I have to agree, I know someone on another product that was on insulin and because of what he was taking improved so much that his physician eventually took him off ... but before it was discovered that he had improved that much he almost passed out because the insulin had not been reduced.

like everyone with it goes around feeling sorry for them selfs
its their own fault
all they gotta do is just not eat crap all the time and have a good diet
unlike type 1 where u cant prevent or cure
u just get it
Hayesy15 1 year ago
@Hayesy15 That's not quite fair. There's genetic pre-disposition that can't be helped or controlled. And I know three people who have always had good diets and developed it. I also know people who eat crap all the time who don't have it...
dariunas 8 months ago
@dariunas ok well ther may be a few exctptions
but most of the people with type 2 can prevent or summin just by looking after them selfs
Hayesy15 8 months ago
@dariunas The genetic link to Type II diabetes does not exist, this was proven decades ago with human genome project.

What will be the effect of eating cinnamon with the food three times a day in hypoglycemic individuals? Will it lower the blood levels too low?
groseone1 1 year ago

I hate to tell him he is doing it for nothing but if he is doing the insulin and it is actually hurtful I will tell him. I want to give him all the info that I can. Will the cinnamon still work if he is on insulin? I don't want advice him to stop what a doc ordered.

what kind of cinnamon is used for this and where can you get it.
MrCoalriverman 2 years ago
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum, synonym C. zeylanicum) is a small evergreen tree belonging to the family Lauraceae, native to Sri Lanka,[1] or the spice obtained from the tree's bark. It is often confused with other similar species and the similar spices derived from them, such as Cassia and Cinnamomum burmannii, which are often called cinnamon too.
the kind sold in stores is Cassia . you want the other , verum.

BTW... Try the $1.41 Cleanse as well.

fruits are full of sugar. doesn't matter if it's natural sugar. our bodies aren't designed to handle that much sugar. just stating what i've read and i must say i've read a LOT.
Injigo 2 years ago 7
@Injigo Get off the fruit is like the worst advise possible. Diabetes/hypoglycemia is cured on a low fat, high carb, vegan/raw vegan diet. Fruit is your friend. Fruit is natures gift. Check out Gabriel Cousens and Neal Barnard here on Youtube for proven ways to cure diabetes. High fat diet compromises insulin production. Ever wondered why obesity increases risk for diabetes.

Among those insulin resistant, fructose can lead to the formation of age-accelerating, advanced glycation end (AGE) products. diabetics must avoid fruit until they have increased their sensitivity to insulin.
ThePeoplesChemist 3 years ago 2

I agree come off it until you have increased your insulin levels

Hey dude-
Good times, thanks for the video.

Diabetic children and adolescents had a high intake of energy from saturated fat and low intake of fibre, fruits and vegetables, which could increase the risk of development of atherosclerosis. This study supports the idea that nutritional guidance in the treatment of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes should be more focused, especially with regard to intake of fibre, fruits and vegetables and to quality and quantity of fat intake.

Bet youre a Doc right. People would live longer if they did just quit their drugs and went the natural way.
momsinthongs 3 years ago
No I'm not a doc I'm a Holistic Nutritionist and a Respiratory therapist..... and after a long battle with Lupus I'm in remission and off all drugs thanks to nutrition and healthy supplements. And yes the less pharmaceutical use the better ... but people turning to more natural means to regain/support their wellness should work with their doc in decreasing their meds and NOT do it on their own.
SurvivingMedicine 3 years ago
I have to agree, I know someone on another product that was on insulin and because of what he was taking improved so much that his physician eventually took him off ... but before it was discovered that he had improved that much he almost passed out because the insulin had not been reduced.
