i have .10 gauge strings on and i have 3 springs on, and everytime i try to tune it, everything just becomes untuned, and the more i try, the more the floyd rose becomes tilted.
U do excellent vids dude, real helpful. Can u tell me why my OFR (late 80s,off old kramer) refuses to stay intune......the Only difference now from when it USED to stay intune,is the 2 screwposts are what came on the guitar & are slightly skinnier posts, compared to the OFR posts, but they sit the same so why wont it stay intune.Edges are sharp & clean.HELP?
dudes im a 2 year player but this is the first time i change my strings on my floyed the strings look good but im trying to get on Eb and when the low e is in tune the others arent any advice also can any one tell me how to fine tune and set the bridge
is it ok if u take the strings off at the same time, cuz i hear this affects the neck because of all the tension being released. so should i take em all at the same time, or one string at a time.
well this is the 2nd time now i chenged the strings, because the 1st time i did as i said the 5th string broke then the 6th then all the others so i bought strings with higher gauge (from 10 to 46) and now i don't know what to do lol the floyd is really hard now
shit i changed my guitar strings and it has a floyd rose but damn is it normal that the 1st times the strings get out of tune a lot? and damn the 5th string broke... but everything else is ok i only have that problem
hi everyone, i'm so exited (since march or something like that) about building my own guitar, but i don't know how to put the bridge, mine is going to be floyd rose, but the posts distance is the problem, i know that about measuring the scale from the nut to the 12 fret and then the same distance to the center of the bridge, but the problem is the posts distance... and i'm thinking in first install a cheap Floyd Rose, and then the original Schaller one, all floyds have the same posts distance???
Question, i have an original floyd rose by schaller on a Schecter C-1 Hellraiser FR I bought last June, I noticed that about 2-3 Months ago that my saddles are starting to turn white, why is this happening?
Hey man, I just bought an ibanez js1200 and wanted to lower the action. The nut that im supposed to adjust is impossible to turn. Whats wrong? I already tried to loosen the strings
Perfect! Thanks so much for the lesson series....finally my floyd rose is set-up!!
Thanks Again!!

I know how to set up a floyd rose tremolo system, but i am having a little trouble.
Whenever I hit notes that are high up on the neck it cuts out. Its almost as if the strings a hitting the rest of the neck. What should I do?

Wouldn't it be just an SL2? SL2H being the non trem version?

I have a question... the string retainer bar is attached directly to the wood?

First time I've heard the terms analog and digital to define a hand screwdriver and a power screw driver :) Pretty cool

yeah, cool joke! and he says it as if the power screwdriver really was digital and the hand screwdriver analog. :-)

you should try larger size strings probably 12s or 13s and maybe add a spring and if it fails take it to a repair shop
