Too Bad HG, Tatsunoko, Hasbro/Mattel and The Original Studios that did the First Robotech Season (Robotech episodes 1-36 and Macross) Would Continue the Story of the Original Characters That Survived the Khyron's Final Attack. I think thats where They should of left the series alone instead of going into the masters and the New Generation, Then Again They could of made 3 series that spin off of the other aka have a diff story while continuing the First Series tbh i liked the Veritech Fighters.

that stupid...that means ALL the effort of Carl Macek, Tony Oliver, Greg Snegoff, Michael Bradley etc... is bad.

The worst score ANYONE can give ROBOTECH is a C--...however i give it an A+ !!!!

I give it an A. Not A+.just a few small details bothered me but nothing big . The only reason i even came to know of the macross series was because i saw robotech way back in '95. i absolutely love the macross franchise save for a couple of spin-offs. so although from a critical point of view i give robotech an A, as a fan i think it would deserve A+......they actually managed to get the Masters and The Invid saga to mesh well considering they are completely different serials

because most people on youtube are NOT qualified to judge or critique a piece of art that influenced ALL of anime from 1985 on...

if someone submitted their argument why ROBOTECH is bad to a college professor of critical thinking ...they would get a F...

folks there is no way one could argue "Braveheart" is a bad movie. There is no way one could argue "Shawshank Redemption" is a bad movie...

i grew up watching robotech when it was first aired in the states, since then i have seen macross i cant say which i like better.

i think the robotech saga, if handled properly, would make a better series of live action movies than macross...if they keep minmay out of it i personally hated her in both versions of the series. but agian that is just my opinion i am sure the macross pureists will rage on me all the same and that is fine, we all have our own tastes.

Shoji Kawamori deserved to get his designs back from a bunch of assholes that won't even give them the Japanese, the original and better storytellers and designers, the publishing rights back.

LOL the spanish dubbing did a better job than the Harmony Gold's English version of Macross (Robotech). A true testament this stuff needs to be locked in a vault hidden away forever. Im so glad I own a real version of SDF Macross.
