I saw that movie a long time ago.. & ill say this...I'm a huge Marlon Brando Fan!! I truly admire great actors such as him, Meryl streep,,Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, I could go on.. but My point is that little Girl who played in Ponette could of gave them all acting lessons!! It transcended acting.. you could swear she just lost her mother for real she was THAT good.I wonder if she still has that kind of raw talent now that she's older??

Victoire's acting in Ponette is just fabulous beyond words! To think that she was merely 4 years old when she filmed that movie is incredible! I always look forward to new movies with her but it seems that is far and few between.

I highly recommend Ponette - it's available on Netflix !!

I found ONE copy w/ english subtitles on ebay - 50 dollars!! I did see one french w/ no subs.. which was inexpensive, but I only took 2 years of french.. SO. LOL. Trying the bit torrent route now.. ;-)

UGH! I'm looking high and low for Ponette!! Can't find it ANYWHERE online and the dvd w/ american subs is out of print.. sigh. I LOVE this child. She is sooo immensely talented it's unreal. And very sweet video, by the way! :D

I have got Ponette on old fashioned video so not good recording at all. It showed on BBC Knowledge some years ago. I too am trying to get DVD Multi-region or 2. I have only found Korean ones with no english subtitles.
