Dear Tim,

Thank you for caring enough to comment. I am aware of the use of mirrors which I first read about years ago in the notebooks of Leonardo. Interestingly,you achieve the same result of a new perspective which points out what is wrong during the process of making a video of yourself painting as this also reverses the image.

If you are unable to see what is wrong with this painting then a mirror comes in very handy because what might not be obvious to you as the artist you know something isn't quite right but for the life of you you can't see it then looking at your painting at regular intervals whilst painting will keep you on track I as the viewer can see what's wrong I'm not saying any of this on a negative way but to be of help
