@MCJay2daSun You think so? IDK, I personally love it... All of the stage themes constitute their respectful Maverick very well, and pay homage to classic Thrash bands like Megadeth and Exodus. They did a great job capturing that "post-apocalyptic" dystopian feel.

I'm a professional session musician, and I respect it for its very ambitious sound, but I can totally see why some people wouldn't like it.

@PrimalLight2323 uh i was thinking of a different mega man. this X3 was OK, but nothing special. after hearing X1 and X2, 3 had such a far drop off it was kind of disappointing.

@MCJay2daSun Nah, not a drop off at all.. It was an entirely different musical endeavor. The composer wanted to pay homage to the heavier bands of the Thrash era, and in doing so had to sacrifice harmonizing dual leads. But in return, it ultimately produced amazingly good rhythm riffs.

You can have your opinion, but as far as music theorists and actual comprehension is concerned, the riffs in X3's OST are minimalism at its absolute finest.

@Malacite Hardcore techno? lmao, this is far from that man... The original 3 X soundtracks pay homage to the hard rock, progressive, and heavy metal genres. Keiji Inafune personally chose the composers to better suit the musical style. Techno came... later on, during the PSX saga...

dude, capcom was smoking dust when they made the mmx collection... i throw up a little whenever i play mmx3 and hear that shit ps1 music, what a waste of money... i get more enjoyment listening to the tracks on the tubes than trying to play that game without the original music. you kill the tentacle dood boss then you go through the door and enter the aarea where the water is gone then you go upwards after once you reach the top you head right shoot a missile dood then you hop over a fall go back inside the other building shoot another missile dood and go down shoot the missile dood on top and then hop over spikes to the other side then you take the staris down or just fall down go right and enter the boss room! That easy stage.
