@coldIced i was being sarcastic, i didnt mean the trash genre i meant like i think it's garbage, terrible lol. yeah sound effects wise x2 is similar but i still enjoyed it more than x3
@MCJay2daSun uhh i think you are mistaken most of the music in this game was epic your on crack you must be thinking of x5 or x6 or some shit get your facts correct kid..
@choppadistriCKt206 actually it's not a fact, u cannot say something as subjective as music is a fact. it's all a matter of taste, and the beetle stage, this stage and the doppler/sigma stage music was good but I THINK most of it sucked, and U THINK it was good. there is not basis to make it fact. P.E.A.C.E.
@MCJay2daSun you can get as technical as you want..i just think you overlooked some things rhino stage umm zeros theme some of the best shit i mean have u listened to all the music in this game?
@choppadistriCKt206 im speaking truth, it's my opinion. of course i heard all the music. i beat the game. it wasnt that good. very average, maybe to call ass was a bit harsh, but the soundtrack is horrible esp. in comparison to the first X
@MCJay2daSun You think so? IDK, I personally love it... All of the stage themes constitute their respectful Maverick very well, and pay homage to classic Thrash bands like Megadeth and Exodus. They did a great job capturing that "post-apocalyptic" dystopian feel.
I'm a professional session musician, and I respect it for its very ambitious sound, but I can totally see why some people wouldn't like it.
@PrimalLight2323 uh i was thinking of a different mega man. this X3 was OK, but nothing special. after hearing X1 and X2, 3 had such a far drop off it was kind of disappointing.
@MCJay2daSun Nah, not a drop off at all.. It was an entirely different musical endeavor. The composer wanted to pay homage to the heavier bands of the Thrash era, and in doing so had to sacrifice harmonizing dual leads. But in return, it ultimately produced amazingly good rhythm riffs.
You can have your opinion, but as far as music theorists and actual comprehension is concerned, the riffs in X3's OST are minimalism at its absolute finest.
@Malacite Hardcore techno? lmao, this is far from that man... The original 3 X soundtracks pay homage to the hard rock, progressive, and heavy metal genres. Keiji Inafune personally chose the composers to better suit the musical style. Techno came... later on, during the PSX saga...
stages in this game are orgasmic, the music is fitting so well with the background animations and flashing lights, all levels are like boom-light parties
man i feel u on tht comment no lie...lol (megaman x games had it all...makes u think of ya childhood i know i do..this game came out when i was n 1st grade i think...orwas it kindergarten of 1995 or 1996?...lol)
dude, capcom was smoking dust when they made the mmx collection... i throw up a little whenever i play mmx3 and hear that shit ps1 music, what a waste of money... i get more enjoyment listening to the tracks on the tubes than trying to play that game without the original music. RRRAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGEEEEEEE
I wish they'd kept this original stuff for the X Collection. They used the crappy PS1 tracks and not only do they sound terrible, they don't even loop properly.
you kill the tentacle dood boss then you go through the door and enter the aarea where the water is gone then you go upwards after once you reach the top you head right shoot a missile dood then you hop over a fall go back inside the other building shoot another missile dood and go down shoot the missile dood on top and then hop over spikes to the other side then you take the staris down or just fall down go right and enter the boss room! That easy stage.
agreed the snes score for mmx3 was soo much better then the ps version but I have a request the snes version of the mega man x 3 doctor doppler telopport hatch stage
Ooh, no way that Toxic Seahorse's theme is better than Gravity Beetle's. Gravity Beetle has the absolute best stage music in the entire game...maybe the entire X-series.
How did I get here from Pharoah Man's stage music?
... Oh well, I'll rock out to this before returning to the 8bit stuff some more.

God I miss the hardcore SNES Techo Capcom used to do.

Except for this (Toxic Seahorse), most of X3's soundtrack really sucks, especially the boss theme and the Sigma Stage select theme.
