Honestly, I think Marcus's voice was juust to similar to every other R&B singer's. Rachel's voice was unique. Marcus is wicked good, but I didn't see the point in keeping him in the competition because it was so obvious he was going home the next week? So, Rachel should have won.

i agree with jenicathashuffler626 cause there are so many R&B singers out there. they have different words to their songs but it's all pretty much the same tune. and i'm sorry but i don't feel anything with Marcus the way i did with Rachel. she has attitude, she is spunky, she is determined and you can totally connect with her when she sings. and she sings EVERYTHING. not just R&B. she is a beautiful girl and she did not let us down. there is so much power in her voice i know she can go far. :)

Yes Rachel Crow sang her butt off, but I love that version of "I'm Going Down", by him. I have never heard a guy sing that and I think he tore it up!! Marcus is an incredible performer. The only problem is this: America rejected him 3 times. Rachel should have been saved if the judges were looking for someone who could win the entire thing.
