  • Magnifique !

  • No, I don't sorry. It is an exceptionally beautiful chanson. A transcription for lute and solo voice was published, soon after Crecquillon wrote it, by Pierre Phalese, and that's how I know it. It works very well w/ the lute in lieu of the other three singers.

  • Beautiful chanson! Fine voice. Unfortunatrly, very poor ensemble. (The tempo is too slow, and it sounds under-rehearsed. Pity.)

  • @JoelvanLennep

As far as I know this is the unique recording of this song

If you know other versions, please let me know...

  • This was recorded by Hugues Cuenod and Herman Leeb (Lute) in the early 50s on an LP called "French Troubadour Songs". As it turns out, it can be found, both for purchase and download (along with lyrics on the back cover) on the internet. A fantastic LP and a more brisk version of this song.

  • Beautiful piece. I think it´s sung by Maria Luz Alvarez.

Have you the lyrics?. Thanks for all.

  • @gibberth No, sings Stephanie Sheffield.

  • Che meraviglia.....
