Hi stefan its koo. I tried emailing you but my computers a bit funny. so this is the only way for now. Great video. Also got the package of cd's etc, thanks very much. See you soon.
It's real cool to see you here Stefan on Youtube; I learned ALOT from you about fingerpicking blues and ragtime in your old OAK books from the 60' and 70's series. This is a great compliment to see, and decide which DVD's to buy to complement them. Thank U from Europe.
that is what is real cool about using the C chord in this tune; keeping it open it adds subtle variation to the harmony in relation to the other notes of the new chords made up the neck, and give the tune some of it's uniqueness. I learned this from one of his old books in TAB and from a CD by ear in part. I hope my blip here is not innapproitely placed and unasked for and may answer the question. I just felt I had part of the answer to it, since I love and play the song myself.
Been trying to come up with something just like this. Having fun moving up the neck with that grip but but hadn't found something to use it in. Thanks!
Very nice tune.

NEW ! Congrads. ... Your own signature model!
I agree with Martin folks you are long overdue!
Somehow looked like a D-size rather than J-size. Absolutely beautiful ringing tone...
Thanks for the response and the original arrangement. Best regards

When moving the C form up - are you only playing strings 64 21 ?
...cause in an open C chord the 3rd string G note is open- unfretted if it was played as you move up then it would have to be fretted, right ?
What model Martin is this ?
Those C-form chords sound really nice - thanks for posting.

Very nice...parts of it remind me of Steve Mann's 'Holly' which is my favourite guitar tune ever.
