I have just watched the very beginning of series 1, episode 1 and the first image is of Jack's eye as it opens, it is exactly the same movement, shape and reflection. It is definately Jack's eye from the first ever episode.. Well that is what I think. :)

It is for sure Jack's eye. I am sure we'll get see what happens when he wakes up in the jungle and runs. I'm pretty sure that scene is not a continuation of him blacking out on the plane. He's been on the island before, that's why he's the only one to black out (disappear) from the plane, just like the 1977 group did when the flew Ajira. I'm sure there is something in between him waking up and him arriving at the beach to find the crash.

Kate's eye is more slanted. Jack looks the most like it, but Lack's brow is more raised, and judging by the skinfolds, this person seems to have lower brows. From what i can tell, Richard has hazel eyes - they can appear green or brown. but i dunno for sure....

i looked at jacks eyes from the pilot and this eye i personaly think they are the same on the pilot u can slighty c trees in the reflection and this one looks like a better quality reflection imo
