One of my most all-time worshiped singers is Karen Carpenter, I still think of her often. Your singing here is just as if she has come back and done a cover of The Guitar Man. Imagine how special that is. If Karen were alive today and had a radio Station where all she did was cover other songs, I would listen all day. I would listen until she put me to sleep at night and I believe I would become so in-tuned that I think that, overtime, I would turn into a Marshmallow and melt into the sidewalk.

Many hits came out in the early 70's from Harry Chapins "Taxi" to Eric Carmens "All By Myself," (first performed plus written by the late Pete Ham of Badfinger "Day after Day".) Most of these hits were from 1972. Guitar Man was in 74, I recall. I have all the old Bread albums in excellent shape. David Gates went on in the later 70's to do the theme for the hit movie "Goodbye Girl." Most people don't recognize the group bread but they know the songs.

"If" was popular in weddings, but they came out with a sting of excellent hits. Great job; Guitar Man was my personal favorite from what they created. Breads last album was "Lost Without Your Love."
