Slayer, your right. You did just start to use a bow. Go read up a bit on kinetic energy & fps for arrows. This will answer your question about the penetration your referring to. With a bow you give up fps for kinetic energy or reverse of the you give up kinetic energy for fps.
Why not use bigger arrows? I'm new to this so I dont know but I don't see whats wrong with using an arrow that will cause deeper penetration and a larger hemorrage?

They're problematic, and in hunting them not only can we remove the problem, but we can provide food for people who often can't afford to buy the packaged meat at the grocery stores.
don't eat meat myself, watched a film called Walkabout last night, take a look at it, people have been hunting for meat for 100,000 years and probably with bow and arrow too
hunting can be good or bad. If u at least use the animal for a pratical reason its ok, look at the indians they use all of the animal body parts for a pratical reason.
