  • what if my wires clip into subwoofer? so it plug them into my dvd player?

  • i just got 2 fisher stv 880 speakers from my brother, how do i connect them. i dont have a amp or anything, is it possible to connect them to my laptop?

  • how to connect speakers, plug wires into them

  • nice video i learn some thing

  • south africa hay SWEET

  • LOL. See my video "How to inhale". Must be some pretty stupid people out there.

  • So do i need 5 speaker cables for my 5.0 surround system ? And 2 of these should be longer for my two rear speaker ?? =)

  • I'm confused. I have those metal red/black wires, not cables. Do they make a difference?

  • Nice video. I didnt get the part where you say that "the more efficient your speakers are, you need less amplifier power" ? How is that true. For instance, I have wharfedale diamond 10.2 speakers, it says suitable aplifier pwr - 20 to 100 watts? so, 20 OR 100 ? :) And what about single wire-ing if your speaker has bi-wire terminals, do you plug your wires in the upper or the lower section ? Or red in the upper red and black in the lower black terminal maybe. thanx 4 your answer

  • hey i am getting some Acoustic Solutions Bookshelf Speakers. and they say it has 3m cables will that work in a pc headphone slot?

    please reply soon thanks.

  • Clip in wire usually indicates that the amplifier has been designed for one pair only.

  • I have a normal stereo with 2 speakers and i want to conect 2 more how can i conect them?? ther are clip in wire...

  • I'm not sure but did you say "as far as you can"

Yea but they shouldn't be more than 3 metres away from each other or the soundstage could "break"

    Depends on the speakers though.

  • soundstaging is an 'illusion' and does not depend upon the distance between speakers as much as the distance between speakers and ears.

  • Something over 3.5m in distance for the speakers splits the sound in two. Speakers don't work too far apart from each other.

  • This happens if there is a mis-alignment between listener & speakers. If one follows the set-up as per video, this should not occur.

  • Always use an amp double the power of your speakers. 50 watt speaker, drive it with 100 watt amp. This way you have lots of head room and your amp doesn't have to strain causing distortion, NOT vice a versa.

  • Hear hear

  • what amplifier do you use?

  • NAD integrated

  • Very informative and useful. Thanks.
