If it was actually a supercharged NSX, it would be running close to 500 HP, with far superior handling to the Vette. The Vette winning had to be because of an error on the part of the NSX driver.
Not likely the drivetrain in he corvette is one of the best in the world... get power down brilliantly. And HP means nothing if you don't have torque.
You are correct and don't get me wrong because I am an NSX fan and owner but a supercharger is quite expensive. The same money put into a Vette would make is substantially faster. Either way I'd still take the NSX. Nothing like it.
the Turbo Vette should win with a good run from the nsx too though. as you can see the vette was already a cars length away... the nsx is starting to fall behind can't beat discplacement.

Hi! I´m using Comptechs supercharger along with Supersprint 3" stainless exhaust and headers. Plus some minor adjustments;) I´ve raced with other NSX, Nsx that were factory spec. and U really can see the difference. U will not be disappointed with your new Supercharged NSX!
Well, nobody really won. In the end of the street we had to let go of the gas and braake. So, nobody really won. But I was impressed by the turbo-Corvette...
Only proves how Turbochargers are more effective than superchargers.
Put a Turbo NSX here. That Vette will not get off so easy.
