I got essure done at 20 , it's less invasive and non surgical, plus I was out the doc's room in about 40 minutes, had a lil cramping for 2 days but was great the third day, 3 months on the nickel springs they place in the tubes scars over, blocking it. so I could have worry free sex after!!!! YAY!!! ^_^ thank you permanant solutions!
I'm pro sterilization. It'll keep these irresponsible people from procreating and not having the means to keep themselves alive or their children. You'll see babies abandoned in trash cans in some countries with with no hope of survival. Better sterilization then seeing these poor innocent souls suffer in vain. Depopulation!!!
Thank you for sharing this. I'm 38 and getting this done this week and I've been terrified until I saw this. It's a very simple procedure from what I see hope I don't have complications.
hey this is so cool. i am a professor assistant in my university for psychobiology courses and i've given this link to my students so they can watch a real uterus and falopian tube, keep up with it they like it a lot!
hey your videos are excellent...i have been watching them all these days ..my mother's appointment is almost here so i'm a little worried..very nice doc..by the way i'm planning to become a surgeon also...
if the fallope ring causes a ligation in the tube and ovulation occurs as normal, what happens to the egg once it comes across the ligation? Does it stay behind the obstruction until it disintegrates?
The incision on your "belly button" is only 0.5 inches in size. Many women who have already had all their children and don't want any more opt for permanent sterilization. Avoiding the weight gain from birth control pills, etc.
Actually.... No. This is a permanent surgery. The fallope ring causes a scarring of the fallopian tube and no sperm can penetrate. You continue to ovulate and your hormones are normal. To reverse it, you will need a microsurgical tubal re-anastamosis, and this is not paid for by insurance. Hope that wass helpful. jb

Is the belly button the only access? Is there a video of the complete surgery from start to finish?

is that the same as having a clip on ur tube or is a ring something different?
traceymcp 5 years ago
There is also a clip called the "Filshie clip" which is also an option to block the fallopian tube, and give you permanent contraception.

That was very interesting to watch. Something I don't see everyday.

yes, the egg stays behind and disintegrates. Your body absorbs it.

Is it not possible to remove the fallope ring once it has been put in place? If for example the woman changes her mind?
