Great song... I especially like that you attach Crawled out of the Sea at the end... it goes great together. The part where her hands are coming off in pieces, at least in the psychology I've studied, it means getting(or fear of getting) less and less actionable or able in the world. Children with neglectful mothers often draw their mothers without hands... just as ineffectual stubs. The best metaphors Laura! Thank you.

(You can read "Outliers" by Malcom Gladwell) If you compare yourself to the natural talent of someone else, you don't have any recourse but to feel depressed about it, since you can't will innate talent, but if you compare yourself to what practice can achieve, you at least have something you can do about it, if you really want to. :)
