I think there are two main objections to this game:

a) it's using the princess becoming fat for humour - aka, as a punchline. This is symptomatic of prejudiced attitudes towards fatties.

b)the princess plays a stereotypically passive role. She sits around waiting to be rescued and is otherwise helpless/useless - perhaps implying that this is what both women and fat people are generally like.

I think these critiques miss the mark because. 1) Ridicule isnt the only form of humour. The humour-

I see no reason why this should even be considered offensive.

It's capture the flag, but instead of a flag, it's with a classic princess held captive, like in fairy tales.

To add to the game, you can avoid playing offensively, or defensively, but instead force the princess to eat cake, which makes her fatter, and thus, harder to rescue.

They are not implying anything, just trying to put a spin on a medieval capture the flag.

Sony's working on an couple of MMOs (e.g. DC Universe Online), now there's a good chance that may have a monthly fee.
