  • noticed that alabama hat hahaha

this is my next project for sure :]

  • You should check outendless-sphere()com/forums/index()php there are some very neat projects on there .

    Great job with the videos!

  • I like the way you made the tank bracket mounts that genius my friend. You have me some great ideas for my scooter build

  • my coil wont snap into the spark plug any useful tips

  • How do you hook up the cords the the motor ??!

  • 2:02 I Jizz on my biiiiike

  • Wow, that was the best quality bulid i have seen in a long time. Job well done. Is she still purring?

  • i really like your attitude the work and your tools :D and also like ur ability to figure out all this stuff (like making a custom bracket) :D i want ur brain mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • Good video. But you made it seem simple. To bad it not I did it I stiil having problmen with the brake sent mine is a beaxh crusier a 26inch huffy cranbrook bike

  • The white wire is a 6 volt tap for a headlight. If it's not used for a light it should be taped off, not connected to the coil.

  • What type of spark plug use the engine? I need a code in NGK brand please? or another too

  • @jisaca510 B5HS in the cold and B6HS warm weather

  • wow the way you made those brackets was pretty ingenious, good work

  • What are the wiring instructions, the kit I got came with little instruction on how to work and I'm having problems with it

  • Thanks... It's been a while since I installed the kit. I have since removed it because it was not a quality motor (surprise). It never really ran a full power and was always clunky. I like smooth, strong engines and the honda that is attached to my tiller is just that.

  • @panofish....do you by chance remember what the white wire attaches to?

  • Hey, panofish. Great instructional videos! Really enjoyed watching them, but am even more impressed by all of the adjustments that you had to make to mount and use this engine kit! LOL! I You're an outstanding and creative problem solver and know your way around tools!!! Can you share any data with us, like what your max. speed is, about how many MPG you get, the gas tank capacity, is the 2-stroke engine overly loud (hence why you're thinking about going with the Honda 4-stroke kit), etc.? Thx!

  • its a nice video, but i think that we found out that its some cheap junk, and it wil give you alot of problems :)

  • You are one smart guy haha

  • yeah, that's my daughter on the floor watching sponge bob in the background.

  • go to 1.53 and look backround

  • A Canadian's comment. - I bookmarked vid 3 to maintain access to all. By far the most informative installation info I've seen so far after watching many. So far there is not a huge interest for the product here, but we can change that. Just a few hours ago I bought a 66/?80 off of a guy on E-bay & will shortly be looking for an inexpensive bike to meet my needs. A project for my upcoming long winter, ( I've put over 320 km. on the electric chopper @ 35 km/h) ... but I wanna go faster !!!

  • hey do you need all those tools to build a bike like that man? I mean your probably a professional so, you have a use for those tools but, what about like people that don't have those resources can they still build one?

  • wow i watched all three videos of how to install this motor and now im begging my dad to get a kit for me lol your a smart guy and hopefully this video will help me if i get this kit. great video man!

  • cool! i am going to make this bike

  • How fast does this thing go?

  • nice video, can you make one on hooking up lights to the white wire.

alot of people , including myself, would like to know exactly how thats done

    thanx

  • I use sony vegas for my video editing. THANKS!

  • @panofish very nice job!

  • Good job man

  • Great video series. Solid, straightforward information. The narration, video editting and background music are very pleasant and professional. What video editting sofware do you use? Thanks!

  • i wish i would have herd of this type of thing at the start of the summer but , i will be dulding on for going to school

  • GREAT WORK MEN

    VERY NICE VIDEO

  • how fast does she go?

  • Very nice job on the bike & all the video's! Thanks for taking the time!

  • What a clear, concise video series on motorizing a bicycle! My kit is in the mail, hopefully mine will be a lot less in the way of fabricating and modifying, as I don't have all the fancy tools and gadgets you have. Thanks or a great how to video!

  • I love it

    see my bike

  • When putting grips on like slip on, its better to use hair spray. Its real slippery and it dries real quick and sticks on way better. Just another way thats all

  • any idea what to use to offset the gas can from hitting the wires? I have the same problem but I dont have those rubber squares. thanks

  • how you made the gas tank bracket was awesome, i have never seen it done that way.

  • Wonderful thanks

  • That's well good

  • Very smart and resourceful. Clear and easy to understand guide. Nice job.

  • im a cheap builder i would have use zipties to hold my cables on lol

  • Good looking work man! I especially like the trick with the wood, socket, and flat bar. I'm gonna have to remember that!

  • im lazy i just cut the grips off with a razor blade

  • Thanks! I am gratified to hear that. That was exactly my aim when making these 3 videos on motorizing my bike. I felt exactly the same as you and I appreciate it when everything is covered in detail. I may not have done the best job, but I tried my best to leave nothing out. Thanks again!

  • excellent video. you are very detailed which is exactly what I need. most people asume you know as much as they do, and you waste your time watching,as they leave out importent directions.asume your viewer knows noting like me! lol.

  • great job on the vid !!!!!!!!!

  • Not my job... just a hobby.

I like doing everything myself. Whenever I have a problem to solve that requires a tool I buy the tool. Over the years I eventually have most tools I need to solve any problem. :)

  • Is this your job? How do you have so many tools? Great video btw.

  • Wow Awesome video.. The best one I've seen on youtube. 10/10.

  • i ported mine and the exhaust and i beat the crap out of it but after 500km still working great also i took the clutch a part and trimmed the excess off of the pads and cleaned the clutch up really good with break cleaner then oiled the gears and the bearing surface that the clutch gear rides on with heavy duty thick gear lube

  • that socket trick is great! Thanks!

  • sweet. nice shop. but cut off the extra length of the gas tank bolts for less weight. Perfect job, I might do that to my old Nishiki.

  • I watched all 3 of your videos...great job and teacher on how to fabricate!

  • Really great video....for once I actually watched a video on YouTube to the very end!

  • Comment removed

  • You completely forgot to show how to connect the CLUTCH to the MOTOR

  • where can i buy this motor kit at?

  • Hi, i have been wanting to buy an engine for my bike but the forks can't take a disc brake and i noticed you dont have them on your bike so i was wondering.. are the block brakes good enough to withstand the power of the engine?

  • I learned a couple things from this series of videos: A way to form formed the steel U-fittings from strap steel with simple tools, and bending steel tubing with propane (I now realize what I have lacked in the past on this endevour is patience.) Thanks!

My tip to you: Glass cleaner is a much better way to install the grips. Unlike oil, it evaporates after grip install so the grip is solid to the bar.

  • awsome video, awsome garage!!!!!

  • Again, your videos really helped! The instructions that came with my kit said nothing about drilling a hole to fit the pin of the throttle. Seems like a relatively large step to leave out. Almost makes me want to go into business making kits just so that they can come with proper instructions.

  • You can also use a little bit of rubbing alcohol for the rubber grips as a lubricant, it works well and dries fast and what your left with is a perfectly positioned grip.

  • It rides well enough, but I had higher expectations... so I think I will try installing a friction drive using my honda tiller motor. I realize the friction mechanism will wear out my tread quicker, but I'd like the convenience of a smooth 4 cycle engine like my honda.

  • @panofish There are sellers on eBay that sell 4-stroke engines that swap in to pre-existing setups with 2-stroke engines. The 4-stroke engines are a little bit smaller at 49cc instead of 66cc, but I doubt there is much of a power difference. And as far as your expectations are concerned, there are easy ways to increase the speed of the bike. You can buy a jackshaft to flip the drive so you can use all of the existing speeds on the bike. You can also adjust the gearing with different sprockets.

  • @panofish instead of wearing your tire you can get a chain driven 4 stroke version there kinda difficult to find and around 220 but there much faster and easier to use also pull started no pedal automatic clutch so they work quite well

  • so does it ride well?

    and fast?

  • your garage is cool,man!congratulations...

  • Wow, it would suck if you didn't have all those tools.
