Come on people just google day v lately and you will see it's a spoof! If you're old enough to "remember" this in your raving days of the 1990s then you will also remember the "fly fishing by J. R Heartly" Yellow Pages advert. It too was a spoof however some canny chap decided to release a book to cash in on the advert. The same thing has happened here. You may think it's a great tune but it's not from your days as a raver!

Okay more recently you could say that r&b / hip hop has taken over commercially but it's not that accurate to say that only people that are into House actually remember House tracks.

I'd think anyone who kept half an ear to the radio in the past 10-20 years regardless of their musical preference would recognize tracks by Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, etc.

Only people that were actively into house music would hear these tracks.
