Take it easy. We don't do it much anymore. I hardly doubt you took the precautions that we did as well. We aren't stupid enough to use gasoline, which is much more combustive than WD-40, which had a safety tube at the end of the nozzle, which prevented any leakage and a thin spray of the liquid anyways. Not to mention the gallon jug of water we had, and the extremely wet weather. Nothing would've come out of it.
you said "drizziling rain." that does not mean pouring rain. I have witnessed one of my friends start a major forest fire in Extremely wet conditions. I am a pyromaniac myself, but after watching my friend cause the destruction he did i realized how dangerous and unpridictable a small flame can be. Its a deadly force that even today still needs to be treated with respect.
I was held back by the comment limit. Let me add a few more things:
It was held on concrete panel (as you can see), also soaked. If you look close, you can see a gallon milk carton filled to the brim with water, a primed hose was held behind us, and we were wearing thick shoes and were surrounded by wet leaves to douse the fire. Sorry, I know you need to be careful, but there were too many factors PREVENTING a forest fire.
It was drizziling rain, the surrounding leaves were wet, the PLASTIC was wet, it took about a gallon of WD-40 and multiple tries to light the figure on fire, the trees were soaked to the branches, and you're trying to tell me I was going to start a forest fire?

I'm sorry, but let me put it to you straight:
It was drizziling rain, the surrounding leaves were wet, the PLASTIC was wet, it took about a gallon of WD-40 and multiple tries to light the figure on fire, the trees were soaked to the branches, and you're trying to tell me I was going to start a forest fire?
