  • there is hundreds of ways to learn how to get abs, this is one of them. If you wanna loose fat,  diet people! if you want to burn more do some cardio. Simple.

  • You have to be thin enough to be able to tone your abs so you can seem them, I'm sure it helps with losing weight if you use it and eat a healthy diet

  • i think an ab belt is actually perfect for people too BUSY to do enough crunches to make a difference. that's how i feel lately, i care about my body but just don't have enough time in the day. i'm proud to be "lazy" :)

  • guys this does strengthen your abs, but it doesn't show them. If u want to see your 6-pack then eat healthy and have a low body fat count. Its good to strengthen your abs but that won't show them.

  • getting a flat stomach is all i can thinking about. I am giving up my favorite foods and I dont even care I am functioning hightly have mroe energy and now i want to step it up with eben more core ab exercising!!!!!

  • but i don't really consider this cheating, maybe some people do. i think that it could be part of the equation for losing stomach fat and and an even bigger part for getting toned. if you just put it on and expect weight loss, then i guess thats being lazy.

  • You know what works for me when I'm trying to lose weight? Not just water, but hot and sour soup. Just one bowl of it, I'm on my way to a flat stomach, there's something about that spiciness that kills my appetite.

  • I am not lazy...I do workout ... the question has been how to get abs that look really ripped and are strong without dedicating every hour of my life to eating protein and doing crunches and other ab work. I am ready to admit I need help in order to achieve a more perfect figure. I will try the inside tip and work hard as I can and that is something I am proud of!

  • well i do try to drink plenty of water but that does not always prevent cravings. and if i;m feeling too bloated, you can forget about any ab exercise happening, at least crunches. maybe putting on an ab belt won't be so difficult even if i;m feeling a little full.

  • I think drinking a lot of water is all you need to keep you from eating something damaging from your diet...stomach exercises can only help you so much but i am not really saying anything new, am i?

  • Attention: this will give obvious results if you keep using it everyday or more times each day. And if you keep your muscles flexed while using the machine. Especially if you're on 80-90 levels. If not, you're just electrocuting your muscles temporarily and just whenever.

  • Seems like you've got a recipe for fat disaster going, and you MUST exercise sometime! Don't you at least walk to the mailbox or something? Maybe an ab belt would help get you started on the way to a flat belly, and nix the carbs...it's not easy, but we can all do it!

  • learning about how to get abs that are flat and toned I realize I am eating too many carbs and I never exercise, so I am going to make mroe of an effort. but I wont do crunchers!

  • well i think bicycle crunches help work the oblique muscles but, i know crunches arent enough for me to get a flat stomach. an ab belt + cardio is prob the best combo,imo.

  • I know for a fact cardi isnt enough, cause I do a lot of cardio and love it. But I dont always eat healthy and I want a flat stomach so obvioulsy I have to incporpoate an abs workout somehow...without spending ALL my time at the gym...

  • I think the only reason i would by this, is for my obliques. i never work them :/ idk if its just that im lazy, or it hurts to. even tho im averagely fit. when watching i also couldnt help thinking, whats the world coming to...having these thigns available to people who dont necessarily need them. but it's okay haha

  • i feel you, it is so hard to get a flat stomach no matter how hard we work at it. unfortuneatly, i'm pretty sure cardio is not enough, exactly why i'm researching abs belts too. crunches and situps just don't do it for me.

  • yeah thats what seems like the best thing about the ab belt; if you don't know how to get abs the traditional way, the belt looks like will do the crunching motions for us, really seems so perfect for busy ppl.

  • for me it is worth it if I am actually getting proper ab exercise because I will never have the self motivatoin to do as many crunches or situps as I need to get my abs flat and toned

  • no kidding, holding plank is a HARD ab exercise. i would rather wear an ab belt because then at least i could focus on other things even if the contractions hurt a little.

  • getting a flat stomach is one of my goals and I am inetersted in all the ways its possible to achieve it I am dieting and walking more and using an ab belt would be also awesome

  • There is a few how to get abs at your desk exercises you can do. One that i have done in the past is this one : sit straight bring your knees together, while exhaling, bring your knees towards your chest, lower slowly and inhale. do a few reps, you should feel it after 3-4.

  • you're talking old fashioned isometrics here I guess, but why not wear one of the EMS belts at work if you're trying to get rid of stomach fat? Some of them are so flat, nobody'd be able to tell I bet.

  • well all i can think of is just holding in your stomach and breathing in and out, but thats basically what an ab belt is said to do, contract the muscles, and probably more efficiently than any stomach exercises you can do on your own. this might be the solution for working off that lunch!

  • Well, there's carbs and there's carbs, and sure, pizza and cake have to go, but you can still eat whole grains and you should to get energy, trying to cut out a whole food group is not going to work for any kind of long haul life change, abs workout programs that know what they're talking about all tell you that...be wise, not a know it all like some people on here!

  • i think if i really want a flat stomach that going no carb is probably the solution, that and an ab belt and lots of running,at least for awhile. greasy pizza won't help the situation, i'm pretty sure.

  • You guys are that stupid yeh! in order for you to have tone abs your body fat percentage must be between 8-10 percent which can only be obtained by perfect diet and this stupid belt can not possibly work your abs muscle enough to have visible developed muscles. In order for you to have toned abs you need strict diet which means not too much carbs, no saturated fat and max of 80g of sugar a day plus daily Cardio and simple 5 min intense crunches. Guys please use your brain.

  • I have yet to find an ab exercise that doesnt hurt my neck somewhat so for me thining of gettng an ab belt isnt because I am lazy I love to workout I just want to do it pain free and safe and this sounds ideal.

  • Well, all you have to do is look at a Denise Austin Pilates dvd, that woman doesn't have one OUNCE of stomach fat, but she's only about what? 18? For me, I'm thinking something more like an ab belt too, I mean, come on, reality has to check in once in a while..

  • I have been traying a few different kinds of stomach exercises, I don't mind hard work and sometimes crunches are just wat I need to get fired up. BUt often I would rather not, you know. Which is when an ab belt would be terrficaly handy. I like the idea of using it along with all the other things I do to keep fit and try to lose a little more weight. want one!   • Think cutting carbs is a biggy as far as getting a flatter looking tummy...just like Suzanne Sommers used to say, don't eat anything white, and you'll lose that belly in a hurry!
