I wonder which arcade racer inspired Black Rock Studios. Being a big fan of Burnout, it makes me think of it, but trading nitrus & takedown via physical contact for takedown by blowing the living heck out of the racing track. Sweet.

But it apparently has a "Reality TV series" background and race event system with it (no doubt a Disney trademark). 24 episodes, 3 races for each one. This'll probably be the downpart if this features plays a big part in the game outside of the menus or narratives

Played this game at the Eurogamer Expo in London last weekend. It was fucking awesome. Forget that it's published by disney, there is nothing childish about this. Unless you consider blowing up, crushing dropping bombs from waiting helicopters and generally destroying your opponents (and sometimes yourself in the process) to be childish.
