  • cripes .... want to go to theatre to watch BUT apparantly so lifelike you almost want to stand on seat and shout NOOOOO ... id be blubbing from start to finish !!

  • These pupeteers are amazing. As the owner of a beautiful big Clydesdale, about the same size as these...they have got every movement, every twich, every ear position absolutely spot on. This is NO puppet show..it is absolutey fantastic. You MUST GO SEE IT

  • My Jack Russell Terrier, Nigel always reacts to images and video of horses. With 4 at home, and he being my farrier truck dog, coming to work with me everyday, he's very much a 'horse dog' Well, he seemed convinced these were real judging by his reaction..well done!

  • That's so so so cool!!! The vocalizations are wonderful.

  • That's so so so cool!!!

  • I would LOVE to have a go with one of them puppets :D

  • I loved the comment 'It's amazing to see what can be done nowadays'. In their TED presentation they mention that the production uses state-of-the art 1750 technology. With the exception of a little laser cutting, they cobbled these together completely from hand. and of course the life is COMPLETELY the actor. To me, these are a testament to man's creativity and love of life. Bravo Handspring Puppet Company.

  • their movements are so lifelike it's absolutely amazing!!

  • those puppets are beautiful! good god! soo realistic!

  • It seems like the riders sit a little far back but that's probably to make the weight a bit more even for the puppeteers. Still looks amazing though.

  • I wish I had one of the puppets at home. :P

  • cool,awsome

  • looks great...but tip from one rider to another...heels down! and don't have your foot so far into the stirrup! book looks great! i can't wait to see it!

  • I'VE BEEN EXACTLY THERE! XD! I LOVE WAR HORSE SOO MEGGA MUCH!

  • the horses are just so lifelike

it's amazing to see what can be done nowadays

  • @battousaiblade The most amazing thing is how basic the materials are! No electronics, no modern technology at all - just levers and pulleys, sticks, mesh and an amazing team of puppeteers.

  • @battousaiblade there's nothing particularly high tech about these puppets :) it's just that puppets are out of fashion so there not so developed in the media

  • thats bizarre.

  • magicol

  • i am reading this book it's really nice
