Truly one of Morricone's best. We had to wait far too long for this gem to see cd format. There is plenty more to come I hope from this genre, that I'd like to see released in my lifetime. The only good thing about the Spaghetti Westerns was the music. If the real west was anything like Italy portrayed, nobody would have lived through it. Most of these stupid flics have a body count higher than a Marine regiment at Tarawa.
@Lyndle54 Not all good cinema is make-believe like Hollywood pretentiously attempts to shove down your throat.
At least they didn't pretend to be anything more than pure entertainment as Leone himself said and didn't fall in the usual John Wayne-style crap were they made you believe that all the cowboys were whites and anyone ethnically different was either a savage or a bandido.
If you think the bodycount is high there you obviously haven't seen many Hong Kong gangster films.
