They used that version of the lost woods as a testing level for both OOT and TP.

I completely agree... the forest areas with light coming through were the best looking parts of the game in trailers, from the very first trailer... I cannot believe they took them all out. The game was great, but could have been just phenomenal.

I was so disappointed when I finally got to play through Twilight Princess and found out that that desert looking dungeon, that huge battle, and this forest area were not in the game. Every time I think of these I get a sinking feeling.

ya nintendo also deleted a monster that was supposed to be in the game too...the pig with the spear from wind waker.. but its not in tp anymore =(

the pig with the spear was changed into the guy you fight on the bridge and in the new Gerudo fortress like place
