There is realy like nine to twelve skin tones, for example I have light skin with yellow under tone, some people with light completions can have pink ,orange or blue undertones. This goes for medium and dark skin as well. P.S I look good in pastels white and gold. If you aren't sure of what your undertone is do a search on what season is my skin tone. I would give the site but, I don't remember it. When you find your shade & season it gives a list to like 20 colors that would look best on you.
I agree with indigojade1 you seem like a sweet girl but you might need a few lessons in fashion. Light or fair skin people always should wear pastels because they actuate and compliment skin tones and if you dress them in muted or dark colors it tends to show the persons skin imperfections. Your skin classification is kind of basic and in certain way incorrect. Is not as simple as you say , is not just about having dark , medium or pale skin.
We are are warm or cool depending not only in the intensity but in the combination of elements our skin has(melanine, carotone and hemoglobin), we must consider the spring, summer, autumn and winter skin types, which are more precise.
Yeah... uhm.
Im African American and Im not as dark as the "dark" female on there. but not as light as the fair or "medium" tone.
I'm considered a middle!
