  • I bought this shit one time by mistake. It was the worst beer I have ever had. I would rather drink a St Ides or MD/2020 than this garbage.

  • i just bought this today. about 20 mins ago to be exact.

.... and actually it sucks. its fucking disgusting. its an oversweetened little girls drink. taste like melted down high fructose corn syrup lollipops with purple food coloring and some light knock-off beer in the background.

i will admit though that its surprising how they got 8% apv in this thing which has no bite or even beer taste, just like candy.

i hate when i go out on a limb and end with a ladies beer. it really pisses me off

  • Yea you dont look to happy drinking it lol

  • If the suds stick to the glass, then the glass is considered clean enough to drink a beer from. Next time you're out at a bar and you order a beer, check to see if the suds stick to your glass. If they don't it means the glass hasn't been properly cleaned.

  • drinkn this right now my cousins wife left 4 over at my house it kinda sucks but i want alc

  • this is the first good review of this beer i've seen. everyone else hates it.

  • I go to this bar where they serve this beer mix with some other beverage. Anyone have a clue what it can be? Guides bar on archer in Chicago.

  • This is NOT beer. If you like kool-aid you may be a fan. The most disgusting thing I've ever had. So nasty.

  • worst "beer" EVER

I'd rather drink some garbage like budlight lime than this

  • It reminds me of a "fruit beer" like the ones I had while in Belgium! I had a cherry beer in Belgium and it too had a higher ABV just like this one does!

  • Great beer! I was expecting a mikes hard lemonade kindda thing but the lager taste is still there.. Great beer for a hot day on the beach!

  • tastes too winey to me

  • Wild blue is great !!! one of my favorites but one problem it's not really a beer

more like mutant beer barley wine the buzz is something else really a special brew

just marketed wrong don't listen to all those negative reviews from beer jerks who palates are so refined they cant even realize its more of a barley wine lager hybrid its great stuff and girls love it!!

  • Wild Blue is what happens when you use blueberry jolly ranchers instead of hops.

I occasionally like fruity beers (sweetwater blue and sometimes purple haze), but this to me is just too sweet, it reminds me more of a schnapps than a beer. Like a commercial coctail mix or something of the sort. If your a fan of that sort of thing, than by all means, but to me it's candy sold as beer. A beer for people who only drink alcohol when it's sweetened to the palate specifications of a 2 year old. IMO

  • If your a beer lover.. your not going to like it. I like it as an alcoholic beverage.. but its not beer. I think they need to market it different.

  • No, "HI!!!!!(fingers wagging in front of the eyes????) :(....and you didnt even lick the glass after you pored your brew......to calm. WHERES MY BOY JJDAVEN?????? LOL

  • Hey man I am a beer man myself but like he said a friend of mine introduced me to this shit. It's smooth man way smoother than wine and goes down like fucking water. The only thing is though man after a six you got a twelve in you hahahhaha six is all you need man and it goes fast because of the smoothness of the beer it will put a huring for certain on you. no bullshit.

  • @purplepeoplebeater It's alcoholic blueberry syrup with a little malt added, you're a child.

  • I thought black dudes only drank old english and colt 45. ha ha just kidding

  • Ive been drunk a many times off of wild blue. Strong lager. Hammer Time.

  • You improved alot from your older reviews to your reviews that u do now! Your more outgoing and have lots of charisma and energy, You just kick ass man & your reviews are awesome!!

Enjoy your beers, I sure as hell will enjoy mine!! lol =)

  • Wild blue is amazing. Anyone who drinks anything would love wild blue.

  • I hate this beer, it almost made me sick. It was like drinking candy!

  • This beer is from Anheuser Bush. No wonder it tastes so bad

  • I've had a few of the blueberry beers before. Definitely not bad, but like you, I don't go for the fruity beers. I prefer the bitter stuff, and I love the stouts and browns a lot. Great review man.

  • It's called lacing where the head sticks to the side of the glass. My understanding is that it shows the freshness of the hops used and the freshness of the beer.

  • havent even watched the whole vid yet dont need to that shit is nasty as hell

  • It has to be said this got slated on Beeradvocate. The Bros gave it F and the reviewers D+.It is an Annheuser Busch product. The label has a craftbeerish look.

  • good beer but just like you i am not into this kind

  • this beer is good i like to refer to it as the sister of steel reserve considering steel reserve has 8.2%

  • @shlitsinator I am not a fan of Steel reserve. thank you for watching.

  • i love your reviews you should be famous!

  • @mongoose301 Thank you very much very kind of you to say so. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • You should have had your pinky out drinking this one. LOL

  • Haha, No pinky's allowed!!

  • You should have had your pink out drinking this one. lol

  • I just bought this beer!!!! and I just chugged three!! and yes it packs a punch and it is very refreshing!!!!!!!!

  • I am glad you liked it. It pays to try something for yourself you just might like something I don't. Thanks for watching.

  • i just had this...yea it really is like a strong wine cooler or special brew from the gas station.

  • Ha-ha, I am just not a fruity beer guy. So these types of beers are not my thing.

  • You weren't excited at all for this one it seems. I am not a fan either, just seems like their wasn't much to this one when I had it.

  • You are correct I wasn't very into this one. I didn't really like it. Thanks for watching.

  • I love this beer. Very smooth and sweet.

  • Thanks for watching

  • Great beer. Picked up a six pack last night and I am glad I did. Really fruity, and definitely packs a punch from the 8% alcohol. Overall, nice change to the multitude of bland beers out there.

  • Well I am glad you liked it thanks for letting me know. It is always good to get ltos of different input on different beers.

  • Just got a six pack of this shit, yea at first it seemed pretty good and refreshing and somthing new. But then it seemed to go downhill and like i didnt want any more (too sweet and syruppy) , but actually after i slammed the first one it got a lil better, of course this is after i got the buzz on. Shits not too bad i guess but the 8% definetly saved it for me. I say raise it up to 10%

  • Thanks for letting me know what you thought of this beer.

  • I had this yesterday in fact, picked it up because I thought it looked interesting. I thought the first sip was good but it went downhill after that. The sweetness became too much and as it warmed it tasted like bad malt liquor with artificial blueberry flavoring. This beer is made by Anheiser Busch.

  • This was a bad beer in my view. I just don't like friuty beers and this one like you say was just too sweet. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • I love that stuff

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • looks like... blueberry juice. I love this stuff

  • Well I am glad you liked it. I just don't enjoy fruity beers thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • yeah this is righteous alternative beer ... sipping one right now .... will just have this one, maybe 1 more ...

  • Enjoy Bro... Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • sounds like a beer for the summer

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend

  • It was a 2 thumb down beer for me. I made what I call the Tiger beer face. lol

  • Making the "tiger face" s too funny. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • nice glass, and nice review, sir!

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Check out my vid drinkin this stuff. It does pack a wallop.

  • Ha-ha it is strong as far as ABV. But I just ain't that into fruity beers.

  • you lucky bastard!

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Your Welcome..

    How good is it???

  • Theres nothing wrong with Anheuser Busch. I just took the tour at the local factory and this was one of the two beers I tried and I have to say this was a real good beer quite shocking on the color and taste.

Ive had beers with a blueberry aftertaste however unlike Wild Blue, it wasnt that good. Its almost like a good wine.

  • Thank you for letting me know what you thought of this brew. I am glad that you tried it for yourself and have your own opinion on it. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • wild blue starts out ok, but as you sip it, it gets progressively nastier.

  • Agreed it is just not a very good beer.

  • what do you think about midas touch beer, i recomend it , it is beer with honey

  • Some beers with honey can be really good. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching.

  • I hate to say it man but this is the first beer I've ever drain-poured or rated an F on beeradvocate.

It may be listed as a different brewer, but don't let that fool you, this stuff is from Anheiser Busch.

Good review, just not the beer for me.

  • I am not a big fan of fruity beers, but as that style of beers go this isn't bad for that group. Like I say though not a big fan of it. Thanks for watching.

  • Where can I buy this beer?? I live in Los Angeles, CA

  • I am sorry Bro. I am really not sure where you can buy it. You will just have to keep your eye open for it. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • GO TO BEVMO

  • try whole foods market...or your farmers market grocery stores they always have different beer from all kinds of places....well in texas they do

  • Have you tried new castle on youtube yet? I would love to hear your imput!!! keep up the good work :)

  • Yes I sure have. Make sure to go through my beer review playlist from my channel and you should see it. Thanks for watching.

  • Newcastle is over rated.

  • 8% not bad, like to try one but not really interested in it being the beer I drink for the night.

  • I am not a fruity beer guy. So it is ok for people that like that sort of thing, but not for me. Thanks for watching.

  • I hear you.

  • I had one for thhe first time today. Not bad, if you like a fruity bear. Very much like wine. 8% is great though. Great review.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • Magner's Cider is Irish and good! Try that one - its great and "fruity"!

  • Thanks for the request. Keep watching!

  • This is a very interesting beer. Where did you buy it from so perhaps I could go pick up a sixer?

  • Well I just bought it at my local beer store Bro. Hopefully you can find it near you too. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • you my friend love beer and i love beer therefore i like you haha

  • Thank you.

  • you said it well. just to add to that is I am not much for fruit in the beer.

  • I thought for an 8% that this was incredibly smooth. Nothing Id buy a 6 of but ya, I didnt think it was an 8 when I took the first few sips.

  • That's pretty much how I felt about it too.

  • i tried that and i kinda liked it but i think i will stick to normal beer.

  • There's plenty of fruit beers that are delicious - lambics (especially belgian ones) - if you didn't like this it's because it is HORRIBLE; brewed by Anheuser-Busch (Now Inbev I guess) too many sugars were used in an effort to raise the abv (alcohol by volume), kinda phenolic/medicinal has a pepto-bismoly chalkiness to it too. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

  • Belgian's are all about adding sugar to their beers to boost the abv, but there's usually something more than a fruit syrup flavor to hide that alcohol. I couldn't handle more than a few sips of this beer. I agree it's horrible.

  • I am not a very big "fruit in the beer" type of guy!

  • Iv drank this stuff b4. It is Strong :) but thats the only up side of the brew.I would not recommend this one

  • What A strang beer. Thanks for sharing that, I think I might passs on that one.

  • It was a little too sweet! And didn't smell like a beer at all, but I have to admit it was very smooth. Went down extremely easy and with 8% per vol. had quite the kick. I am personally just more of a bud light, amber or stout kinda guy.
