you guys also have to Remember the SEC is a much tougher conference to run in due to Defenses being much better and larger than other conferences. Most college Football conferences focus more on offense and scoring while the SEC focuses so much on defense.

The SEC is the toughest conference, has the best teams, and has produced more national champions than any other conference including the last 6 champions are all from the SEC and the SEC has never lost a BCS championship game of course that will end this year since the SEC is SOO good that they have both the number 1 and number 2 team.

why have several of the SEC teams struggled against FCS opponents? Auburn barely beat Utah State. Auburn barely beat Oregon last year, and I don't think the pac 10/12 is as strong as the big 10. Martinez has been dissapointing , he looked much more promising as a sophomore. He has regressed, its like hes not trying to get better, his accuracy has gotten worse, his mechanics are sloppier, he constantly makes the wrong running the option. Hopefully he puts it together next year, and Nebraska's defense steps up, they can be a legit contender, thats right national title

Kind of like how Montee Ball didn't look "nearly as good" as John Clay in 2009 when he ran for 391 yards 4 ypc and 4 tds. Clay had 1517 yards rushing and 18 tds and is mediocre. Trent Richardson is good but overrated just like Mark Ingram. Just another hyped up SEC rb that runs behind gaping holes. Eddie Lacy was able to come in and average 7.5 ypc and 7 tds behind the same line, over 600 yards on around 80 carries. You have to look at the situation and evualte the skillset. The offensive coaching at Nebraska isn't that great, he doesn't get big holes all the time, and he was hurt most of the sason because the coaches insisted he bulk up even though he was 210

Rex could win the Heisman Trophy. He is that damned good. If he was the feature player I really believe he could win it. He is a spectacular running back. Terrific receiver, and a better passer than Martinez. Rex's biggest strength is his leg-drive and balance. His cutting ability is exceptional. He's up to 218 pounds and is deceptively fast. But his vision and swift cutting ability is exceptional. If every Husker played with his heart and determination we would destroy any opponent.
