i had one of these too,had it removed on valentines day 4 yrs ago.i had an MRI scan at the end of the january to see how big it had grown and within those 2 weeks it had grown considerably larger,my surgeon told me she didnt intend the scar to be as big as it is but she had no choice. I like it though,miss having a fat neck too although im glad to be able to breath now!

and i was a little bit sore for a few days but thats it ....healed up nice hardly tell it happened. (=

@daugela How painful is it? Because i just found it last night and now i have to get it surgically removed? How much does it hurt? Please tell me i want to know the truth and the doctors didnt say.
@lovelygolucky Well I guess depending on the size will dictate the amount of post operative pain. Again, mine was about the size of a ping pong. Hence larger laceration and more prodding. It's considered MAJOR surgery. It's in a position on the neck by your carotid artery! The surgery side of neck was very tender to touch after surgery. All the way down to your collar bone. Swollen and stiff. You won't be able to move your head back and forth. After 1 week, it became manageable!
@daugela Thanks. he said mine was the size of a golf ball. I cant wait to try to sleep with a stiff neck like that! Hooray! Thank you very much i feel better knowing what to expect now.
