Man I have to thank you for this wonderful Piano piece of Rainbow. Never heard of it before but I am enjoying it. Sounds Difficult to play. I well play by ear. only. So I miss out on lots of pretty nice music.
i've always heard phrases like those and have always loved them, but never understood them (the only fast passages I play well are like the ones in Fantaisie Impromptu)
@cavalier777 Just learn the minor pentatonics really fast (see my "Pentatonic Fingerings" vids #1 and #2....then learn it with the lowered 5th and you're ready for any mi7 or mi 6 or dom.7th and it sounds exotic.

The solo section at the first was straight out of the future! And then it settles in to a really polished, well executed trio. Classy, brilliant!

yep...but it was a studio recording from a few years ago. Paparazzi weren't allowed in.
