@Peaced2Gether Well, in the show it was never discovered. Most fans believe him to be Jason Todd (the second Robin) due to their similarities and because Todd usually steals other superhero's identities to commit his form of "justice".

He even stole Batman's and Nightwing's identity in the comics.

But like you I also believe Robin's way better because Red X relies too much on the suit's gadgets to enhance his speed and strenght and even then he can barely keep up with Robin. That's why I wonder if a Xenothium enhanced Robin could be able to defeat Slade in combat...

@I38 The Suit doesn't Enhance Red X's Speed or Strength the only thing it does is provide him with the gadgets that Robin made in other to take down his friends without hurting them. He does However rely heavy on his acrobatics and the gadgets.

@HatakeWolf Well, I remember reading somewhere the suit also enhanced an human's speed and strenght to metahuman qualities but I may be mistaken. Also, when Robin first fought the new Red X in "X", Red X momentarily blurred when Robin tried to connect two strikes so that could be a signal of him using the suit's enhancing technologies.

Nonethless teleporting could be something very useful for Robin and also no longer having to reach for his belt in order to use his gadgets.
