i don't think the dark one is made for contouring because if you purchase vs pro then it tells you on the package what the orange and green is for and the three other colors are to conceal but if you are a lighter shade then you can use the dark for contour but if you are a darker tone then you can mix it with the dark to get the right shade for your skin =].

Hello I am a makeup artist for Victoria's Secret. This pallet was made for models and photo shoots. So that models are camera ready and flawless. Now, the darker color was made mostly for contouring, you can use it to make your face appear slimmer. Apply under your cheek bones, temples, on each side of the bridge of your nose. Apricot is used for extremely dark under eye circles. This color cancels out the darkness. You can warm the product up with your fingers to make it easier to blend.

use it as a base for a darker neutral eye..very light application tho...the orange is for acne scarring and dark spots on your face...u put it down then u put ur foundation over it n blend well

i use colour correctors - yellow (since my dark circles are purple so that cancels out) and green (for redness). i kno that color is really orange but it will cancel out the blueness of your dark circles and you apply these correctors before foundation so when you put your foundation on it will take away the green and orange. then you put a concealer tht is your skin tone over if blemishes or dark circles still show

Just a suggestion, I have the Revlon creamshadow palette in.. not just nudes? Yeah, and I use it to put it my crease to deepen it and it looks pretty natural too.

I HATE HATE HATE that concealer palette!! i don't like that there's a difference in consistency.. i also don't like that there's a chemical smell.. throughout the day, i can still smell it and i dont like that at all! I tried to return it to vctoria's secret and they told me that i wud not b able to return it jus cuz i didn't like it and if i have already used it.. hate hate hate.

i used to work at VS and still go there a lot. they are suppose to let u return it if u don't like it. u can also return ur bras if they rip, etc. go back!!

me too I took mines back the same day. The smell was horrible, reminded me of cooking oil. It was extremely oily and already having oily skin that was a no no. I can't believe they wouldn't take yours back. I know it is too late but you should have tried going to a different VS store after they told you no. Sorry.

you use the apricot color to cancel the darkness then you can apply the light concealer on top, which is what I do with my bobbi brown salmon concealer. It is very orange also then I put my light concealer on top and blend.

I remember I was watching a makeup tutorial clip and remembering it say you can use the dark brown concealer as a contour. btw thank you a lot for the tips, I've been searching around for concealer, so many to choose. Gives me a lift to choose concealer. Thanks

wow it is a little bit odd to have green to cover blemishes. And I think it does not match with many skin tone, it is just odd because it seem that the color is not compliment with each other. But if someone is creative I think they can find the use for this pallete.

It's nothing new to use green concealer over blemishes. Didn't know if you knew :) It looks normal and not green on your skin when buffed out. Crosses out redness.

I think the dark brown colour is for contouring. I have a Lise Watier concealer wheel with a dark brown shade and that's what it's used for.

@etoiles1021 actually no thats not what its made for. Its made for people with darker skintones. before you go saying stuff like that make sure you know your facts, because in this case your wrong. try not to be so ignorant next time.
