slipknots better. Stone sour is more drunken relax rock. And joey is the better drummer. That's just fact. And I'm not one of the fans but friends with the band. Stone sour is what corey did before slipknot. Clown wrote most of slipknots first songs. Why they were harder the more they played the more corey wanted freedom to write.

i would have to say Joey is not better than Roy, not saying that Roy is better, but as you said they are different styles of metal. Joey's drumming is repetative. Not to say its bad, but repetitive.. Mayorga is less repetitive, which is probably why people may think he is better. He is definatly NOT faster than Joey though..

It's so frustrating that Corey uses a mask during the period he stays with Slipknot. I mean, his voice is amazing with or without the mask - however, you can see what a tremendous singer he is when he sings without it.

Sometimes it sounds like he is trying too hard to achieve certain high and lower notes, because the mask kind of takes the sound away.

Anyway people, he all know what he can do with his voice! Stay (sic)!
