Here's a tip for anyone who likes fish sims: Buy Dark Cloud 2 (That's Dark Chronicle(s?) 2 in Europe I think), build the aquarium item, go fishing and you get fish you can actually do shit with. Though the graphics aren't as SHINY SHINY as this, it's more fun and you can actually breed them and make them kill each other.

Or just, y'know, get a fish tank. But since fish are boring and pointless, I would still recommend getting DC2. (I would recommend getting that game anyway, actually. XD)

the purpose of the fucking screensaver is to keep the monitor pixels from having the same color for far too long, which is not good. FOR OLD MONITORS! lcds dont have this problem and every1 has lcd now :| the wallpaper keeps the background from looking dull and while playing games, you don't see it; while im not playing games, i keep the fucking tv and console OFF

Great review and I use it, ironically, as you had mentioned - Diner & Social events over at our home. It's a hit too at times and just quite low key kinda cool.

I like seeing developers try out & present stuff. Not an earth shaker but for 2 bucks, what is?... A big mac perhaps? - yuk by the way :)

I'm not a Sony fan, but there's an upcoming WiiWare game called Blue Oasis (or My Aquarium as it may be called in PAL regions) and it's very similar actually.

Only you can do things, such as feed them, view individual fish at any angle, and the game actually looks beautiful graphically, shockingly!

It may support the weather channel, but the official website doesn't mention the feature. :(

And the game is 500 points ($5)!
