i also have one of these bivvys, easy to put up but ridiculous putting but away in the tiny bivvy bag, last trip we went on the bivvy let water come through the stiching, and any windy weather and the whole thing feels like its gonna collapse. Then again ive also bought various carryalls, quivers from tfg and all the stiching is pathetic. Oh and dont buy the force 8 alarms, mate of mines set broke within a weeks use. Just some frindly advice.
have a 2man tfg, fished in very rough wind an rain an its still standing.but i did have to buy good pegs.the ones that come with it are the cheepest pegs ever made, completely useless, that said i cant wait to spend another week in it
Aircraft aluminium poles haha uncle fester you tit!! Almost as bad as when you took a photo of me with a pike and cut half my head out the shot you wankstain hahaha
just to let everyone know, greg phoned them up and they sent him replacement poles, these then broke again, so they sent him a completely new bivvy, and as far as i know he hasnt had any problems with it since.
Ive had my force 8 for 2 years and have fished in all kinds of extreme weathers and its still as good as new. It's like anything if you take care of it, it will serve you well. Plus you do have to be careful when erecting it unlike the dum dum in the video but even when being careful it should only take seconds to erect in fact even my missus got it up first time in a matter of seconds! (The bivvy that is ).
@murphy1980 have to agree with you, had a 1 man force 8 for ages, never let me down, just dont try and put it up in 20 seconds (stupid marketing ploy). Just sold it to a mate who was green with envy when i turned up in the 2 man bivvy.
I dont wanna be licking Matt Hayes nipples or anything...but I've had one of these for a year ( not the ally poles though the older model ) and It's been fine. To be fair you do have to have a different mind set when erecting them cos it's so different a design from other biv's.
That said, it shouldn't have snapped like that. hope they exchanged it for you mate.
I've had mine out in all weathers and It's been a decent peice of kit.
how can u fish safe with that and havbe nightm, ares i would
