it flashes when you turn it off because the capacitors need to discharge for them to prepare for storage.

@iamtheflu do the capacitors work like a transformer, I don't get why you need capacitors if you got batteries already

they store and release energy really quickly, much faster than the battery itself can do. the battery charges them quickly and they release the energy in an instant.
