Kicked in after being tricked into a malicious site in less than a minute. Firefox froze after a short while and was unable to do anything like closing it or opening a new window from Quick Launch. Restarted in Safe Mode and did a System Restore.

All the ways I knew to deal with viruses were stopped because of the .exe block. (McFee never helped me, I don't know why I bother with it.) @fassialami , Check out serj960HD's video. He has a good removal tutorial that helped me remove system tool in a few minutes. His video is on the video suggestions. BTW, you should disconnect your internet cable when you are not using the internet to search the removal, because System tool might be monitering your computer.
i had this bullshit on Vista if u got problem with it on x64 vista, crash ur pc go to your Safe Mode then go to C:\ProgramData (u have to type that) and there will be a Folder with minimum 5 Numbers and 5 Letters then just delete this bullshit and restart in normal mode, you're done.

All you haft to do is before your computer goes onto welcome when you turn it on click F8 and then wait for it to turn on safe mode and a pop up will say do you want to carry on with safe mode or restore click no and choose a date were you didnt have the virus wait for it to restore turn it on usually and its gone :)

i got rid of this by using my task manager while my computer was still trying to log in. If you are quick enough to find that file Cn39000 something like that you "end task" and you go to the Security Tool shortcut desktop go to "properties" Open File on Location and delete the program.

@leecheehee (step 0ne) first thing you need to do is start windows in safe mode with networking. then download a program called malware bytes. and another program called TFC by old timer tools. after installing them update malware bytes. (when u install tfc run as administrater)
@leecheehee (step 2) load windows normally.start hitting ctrl alt and delete as soon as you have put the password in.(assuming u have a windows password) if your quick you can start task manager open the process tab and look for a (random number).exe usually near the top i'm told. mine was OHak0oo902.exe. end this process before system tools loads and your in buisness.
@leecheehee (step 3) you will now be able to run TFC , restart if you have to. then run malwarebytes quick scan, malware bytes will find the pesk critter and zap him. hope it helps .
I bet if you get this removed by hand ittl hijack the registry file which interprets what an exe file is, had that happen to me with vista antivirus, then youll have to get mbam on lol dunno how but i guessed

easiest way to get rid of it:
1. boot pc in safe mode with networking.
2. click on file location of any program
3. find program data and look for a small file with a recent date. this file is probaly a load of random letters and numbers.
4. Delete it and restart your pc

i got infected with this on christmas; it was kinda scary how i couldnt run any executables. then i went into safe mode and system restored to 2 days earlier.

I had this virus for 3 days then i just had enough and downloaded a program called PC Tools Fireall Plus and it hasn't been back since or it could've been that i went into safe mode and deleted the damn thing's file location

restart your pc
keep on pressing f8 key
select safe boot with networking
then download malware bytes anti-malware
do a full scan
delete the virus
its gone

i got that virus yesterday. had to use system restore under safe mode to a earlier time before that virus. after rebooting the computer, the virus is gone.

It is the same fonts..I have malwarebytes and restarded with SYSTEM RECOVERY [F11], and the rgoeu was gone! [And checked in Computer search, and put in the right words, saw the remaining folder and deleted it.]
There seems to be in System32 in the dates for today some files with no company name [I selected "Company name" on the "Columns" menu] and I instantly noted no comnapny or anything. Just a long series of numbers. Just like Security Tool.

@vanessa932 its easy, i got it earlier today, and what i did was i started windows in safe mode (restart computer, press f8 b4 windows begins loading, then select safe mode), then i went to all programs, accessories, system tools, and system restore. then i just restored my computer to a time before i got this virus

@leecheehee (step 0ne) first thing you need to do is start windows in safe mode with networking. then download a program called malware bytes. and another program called TFC by old timer tools. after installing them update malware bytes. (when u install tfc run as administrater)

@leecheehee (step 2) load windows normally.start hitting ctrl alt and delete as soon as you have put the password in.(assuming u have a windows password) if your quick you can start task manager open the process tab and look for a (random number).exe usually near the top i'm told. mine was OHak0oo902.exe. end this process before system tools loads and your in buisness.
