I Just bought one on Craigslist in mint condition for $230 With a stand included, its a very well made instrument, I also own a Roland JV-30 but I kind of like the feel of this one better, its got some fantastic sounds Man!
I've got this board but can't work out how to create simultanous sounds, the manual talks about creating part in a performance, but not how they are sounded together, can you help dude?
all rubbish, i only use my Triton for jamming and looking good, it's got a sequencer and all that but who the hell uses hardware in this day an age?
i'm amazed at how expensive a keyboards and mpc's still are nowadays concidering the incredible sounds you can produce with just a laptop and midi controller
@starlightmetal Yeah, but when you listen the sounds. IMO Juno D is much more better sounds than Juno G. Juno G has too many weird voices, ding, major7 etc... I think, if you don't need realtime recording and you want good synths, buy Juno D, but if you have money for Fantom, get it.
Yeah, i already have Juno D since a year ago :D ... the juno d have greats sounds... i have problems with arpegietor, i dont know how to use it but...... whathever
I'm seriously diggin' this track, I must have replayed it about three or four times. It has a great feel to it. Anyway I plan to purchase one of these soon, I tried it out and the only complaint I have is that the keys felt a little stiff and unexpressive, I'm hoping that with increased use they soften up a bit.
Ive started gigging with my band so need an upgrade from my yamaha e403.. i use the piano sound the most and the odd electric synth here n there.. would the juno d be the right keyboard/synth choice??
I would say yes. This board is extremely light like 12 pounds, and built well. The piano sounds are good, and can be tweaked to sound great. Plus you can store 128 custom patches which is nice. Check out my video which demonstrates a few of the Juno-D's sounds.
Hey man. I've got a Juno D as well and i was just wondering if you knew how to make the lower register of the keyboard something other than grand piano on the split key setting? Cheers.
First you split the keyboard, then you press the Param button. Now you can change your upper tone and if you want to change your lower tone you should press Destination tone and then you can change!:) Keep on!
grooving man!, im getting one of these for my rig...i need something with organ and piano sounds and this one fits nicely plus its under500 bucks(except at Guitar Center) so its def a good bargain
I bought the Juno D just earlier today. Like you I also wanted good organ sounds. Depending on what your used to these organ sounds are pretty cool. My personal favourite (so far) is 60s Organ which is kinda like a Vox Continental patch. If you can spend a bit more money you could go for a Roland VK-8 which is what I wanted but couldn't afford. Or if you want to spend a bit more you could get a Korg CX or for even more, a Nord C1.
hello. . .nice playing Bro. . .Can u Tell Me which one is better The Juno D or the GW 7? . . I play more of progressive rock and piano tones. . .thanks
the d beam do many things such as controlling practically all of the parameters for your tones/patch creation and also some of the effects parameters as well!
the keys are kinda cheap (Though im grown up with those kind of keys so i prefer them, you play faster on them. Less pressure needed.) but you wouldn't hear it during a live performance and when you play you aren't really bothered.
I was going to buy this keyboard instead of the Juno-G but I decided to go with the Juno-G because it can do so much. I'm still learning how to work all the controls. Check out some loops that I've created using the Juno G. I'm having a lot of fun playing on it.
Ya I really like the juno-g. I really like this video and the groove that is being heard is very unique. Where is that loop coming from that your playing over, if you don't mind me asking?
unlike the juno g which i need a computer to create my loops...I use cubase program in that one i use the old cubase vst which work perfectly for my...so i record my bass line..my drums or percussion and so on and then the rest i play by my self along with the loop thats it!!
Yet I was pretty low on cash when i founfd the juno d...I was amazed by its sound quality and functions people definetly underestimate the keyboard!!!Despite its limited funcions compare to the G its still very deep and very flexible! I actually enjoy it!
Could you explain exactly what you mean by that sentence? Because I'm planning to buy one myself, but if you mean they usually never sound good, I might want to reconsider.
i was saying that because all videos ive seen with the juno d are with sounds i dont like and this one has piano... but i do recommend the juno d i have one and im very peased with it... the only thing bad about the juno d are its keys they are too light but u get used to it.

Juno G is better than Juno D, because there is realtime recording.

You can record just pushing the REC button and then play.

is there an onboard speaker? like if i had just bought this keyboard and began playing i could hear it right?
reaper7695 3 years ago
no onboard speakers, look into buying a decent headset or amplifier
you can buy a decent pair of headphones from walmart for 20$ and a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter for about 3$ at radioshack.

Korg X50 is a direct rival for the Juno-D with about the same features. You may want to compare them before going for either one.

hello. . .nice playing Bro. . .Can u Tell Me which one is better The Juno D or the GW 7? . . I play more of progressive rock and piano tones. . .thanks

aftertouch is a sound that is made by pressing the keys a certain way. And also try the 60s epiano. Sounds just like the Fender Piano
858287 3 years ago
Aftertouch isn't a sound but it's a 'gate' triggering something else. For e.g. a vibrato or a phase etc
dazzelya 3 years ago 2
Is that clav sound an actual patch on the keyboard or is it just a backing track? Also can you create your own patches for this?

is that a rhodes V? what's after touch?

No, it doesnt have a built in sequencer but you can easily hook it up to some sequencing software
