Jesus said many times that those who follow Him will be persecuted. "If they persecute me, they will persecute you" (John 15:20-21).

Indian constitution clearly says religious conversion must be person's wish...if he is forced or offered money to do so, then it is a crime. When govt did not take any actions against these christian missionaries, people became aggressive....we have always lived together as brothers and sisters, but when it comes to forceful conversions we become aggressive...What's wrong in protecting our religion?? How is that a terrorism??

@dmzind11 The gift of salvation from Jesus Christ does not need forceful methods or money to be effective. Our Christian contacts in India are honest, and would not force people to become Christians.

Best example being Mother Teresa. We are really thankful to such people. But there exist a lot of other missionaries who have landed in India with a sole motive of converting people either by good or bad ways. I live in India and I know the situation.

@dmzind11 Anyone using violence in the name of religion dishonors his religion. Mohandas Gandhi practiced the art of non-violence and he was the father of his country. We see Indians beating their own countrymen and bringing dishonor to the memory of Gandhi and to the religion of Hinduism. For thousand of years, Hindus have forced "untouchability," burned widows and killed female infants. Wouldn't Hindus do well to heed a Christian message of non-agression and "love thy neighbor as thyself?"

I sometimes think how much shame in heaven we, the people of comfort, security, wealth, prosperity and peace will have to bear for not doing enough for the martyrs of out time. we have everything and live in contentment, sing happy songs, pray for satisfaction and fulfillment and don't pay attention to the body of Christ, which is in pain. we don't need to pay the price for our faith yet. let's pray for those who want to do it...

I am an Indian Hindu and i am deeply ashamed of these so called 'hindus'. Hinduism is a religion of peace, harmony and spirituality. People who kill other human being cannot be a hindu...In fact majorities of hindus love and respect our christian brothers, these are few peoples who have their own political agendas and it is nothing to do about religion. The areas where this kind of heinous crimes happened are backward areas of almost no law enforcements.

What if these attackers were Muslims? I bet loads and loads of anti-Islam and anti-Muslim hatred will be spewed by Christians against Islam and Muslims as you often see in other YouTube segments. But these are Hindus, not Muslims, attacking Christians. I don't see any Christian attacking Hinduism and its values here like they are often quick to do against Islam. But why are these Hindus attacking Christians in India, ever try to find a reason why?

I don't condone violence but I understand the anger. The unmitigated arrogance of Christian missionaries who visit other lands to preach and push their religion whilst pronouncing all other beliefs as wrong is grossly disrespectful, condescending and infuriating. Christians how would you like it if Indians came over and converted your kids to Hinduism? India deserves the same respect!

@sweetsweatyfeet All people are free to believe what they wish, but it is the goal of Christians to tell everyone that they can choose to believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior. Christians don't want people to follow the same belief for vain or arrogant reasons: they believe that those who aren't Christians are doomed to Hell. It would be hateful to know the truth and not tell others, especially when the consequence of not believing in the truth is eternity in Hell.

They want to live a life that pleases You and extremists persecute them because of that. Your Word says that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake. Book of James clearly tells us to Help the Bretheren who are in prison, beaten, poor, homeless, and without neccesities.

"When you have done it to the least of these bretheren you have done it unto Me"

Superficial Christianity says me first in everything and never or rarely considers those who are hurting!

Then don't wonder why you don't see God's blessings, His Holy Spirit in our lives!
