The movie was good but i noticed that during the hand to hand combat scenes, the British had no bayonets. I'm pretty sure that bayonets were used in close quarters whenever possible but i could be wrong.

This is astounding. I know the intertubes are clogged with people that are quite young, even compared to my 30 years, but considering a movie that came out 17 years ago "old" is absurd.

You want to see a good Old movie? Try to find the 1939 version of "Goodbye Mr. Chips". Or maybe, 1963's "Charade", or "The Great Escape". If you like that last one, you will want to take in all 158 minutes of "Where Eagles Dare".

i didnt think it was that great. i read the book and then when i watched the movie i got confused. the movie barely follows the book at all. also, they never really said what each of there names were so i didnt know the indian in green was Uncas until the end of the movie and he died, i thought Daniel Day-Lewis was Uncas lol.
