So sad that Kerry threw his life away with addiction. It's very strange to me that he had the mental discipline to keep himself in such shape but not enough to stay alive.
Thats not Sid. That guy is too short, and his hair isnt blonde. That guy looks like him, but its a different Sid. Thats not the Psycho Sid, that was in the WWF and WCW, and the one who was WWF Champ in 1996/97.
@SolidMike84 This is when Jarrett was working with, the taking over, WCCW. Either late 88 or early 89. Sid was a CWA guy wrestling in WCCW before it all became USWA (or right when it became that).
@PainlessIsDeath Yes, that is the one and only Sid. He'd been wrestling for about a year at this point and wasn't as massive as he would soon be. He was even thinner in Continental a few months before this. This is probably early 89.
@mamacornettesmoney This was 1988. This was the match that made Sid become known in Pro Wrestling after Kerry Von Erick made the famous quote about Sid saying "He was the most awesome man I ever wrestle".
@asm42 He's done it plenty of times and not just early in his career, he was still doing it in the WWF in 96/97 and I never saw him do it when he returned to WCW in 99.
@japanpro1 yikes, what a creepy comment. i've seen similar comments on other videos with the more muscular wrestlers. Hey, whatever sharpens your pencil I guess.
@ThunderwingMatrix Given Sid's physique, I would say '88. By '89 Sid's deltoids were MASSIVE! Also, it was 1988 when Kerry Von Erich nearly beat Jerry Lawler for the AWA World Title.
undertaker is my fav big man of all time. after him is sid and mike awesome

After, if you look at Kerry's right boot you can see it is straight down instead of form fitted like the left.

@PainlessIsDeath
Sid Vicious aka Sid Justice aka Sycho Sid aka Sid Eudy
So yes, it's Sid, cannot mistake him for someone else with that face
This must've been during his brief run in WCCW (before WCW), so naturally he didn't have the dyed hair

@taekwon3000 After checking the dates, Sid was only CWA Champ from Dec 10, 88 -Jan 9, 89, so "late 88 or early 89" was pretty close.

As ripped and strong as Kerry is, he's just overwhelmed by Sid Vicious' raw strength and power. He just tosses Kerry around like a rag doll. Cool.
