  • Will people stop saying that Lord Pearson is anti-Muslim! He is not! He stands full square behind the vast majority of peaceful Muslims; all he wants is for them to get up off their bottoms and to take on their violent co-religionists. It doesn't happen though, does it? That's the point!

  • Does this appointment not just confirm that UKIP are in fact just a slightly moderate version of the BNP?

  • Far from it. He says that Britain has "not at all" too many immigrants in Britain, but that we need zero net increase from now on. That's completely different from the policies of the BNP.

  • They both end at the same conclusion. Coincidence?

  • Actually, they don't. The BNP wants a permanent freeze on immigration, UKIP wants a temporary freeze and controlled immigration thereafter. There's a difference.

  • I despair...

  • Why?

  • What's all this talk about Pearson being soft and PC? jeezo. Accuses Muslims of breeding too fast, want to bring immigration to a near halt....pals with Geert Wilders. "NWO goon"? Amazing.

  • From the CRU data set 'HARRY READ ME txt'

CRU searchable database of the leaked info at wattsupwiththat

The problem is that the synthetics are incorporated at 2.5-degrees, NO IDEA why, so saying they affect particular 0.5-degree cells is harder than it should be. So we'll just gloss over that entirely ;0)

Youtube & Google search - Chemtrails, HAARP, Weather-Modification-Vietnam, Energy Weapons.

  • Pearson = Pathetic sell outs

  • Check out my own take on this interview.

Lord Pearson is a NWO goon.

  • Q "Do you think there are too many immigrants in Britain as things stand?"

    Pearson: "Not at all".

Great, one of the two better parties (being UKIP and the BNP) has been inflitrated by another globalist, utopian numpty. For Gods sake, what is going on in this country!

  • Stop comparing UKIP to the BNP! They're completely different!

What's wrong with globalisation? UKIP has always said that a small ammount of globalisation is inevitable and even beneficial, but that if we wish to win back our sovereignty, then we must leave the EU and govern ourselves as an independent nation. What's utopian about that?

  • What do you mean win back our sovereignty!? You clearly know nothing about the law making system of this country.

Our Parliament has ultimate supremacy. What it says, goes. It can't legislate retrospectively and it can't bind a future Parliament. It can disobey what ever European law it wants to, but it doesn't out of pure CHOICE.

Every power that the EU has over the UK has been given by, and can be taken away by the UK Parliament.

We have lost no sovereignty at all.

  • No, but we are gradually giving away our sovereignty to the EU. 80% of our laws are decided there. The Lisbon Treaty was forced upon us WITHOUT A REFERENDUM! A substantial ammount of MPs oppose the treaty, but it was still implemented. Is this parliamentary soverignty? I don't think so.

  • As I have just explained, we are not giving away any sovereignty, stop lying. The UK Parliament is supreme, it just delegates powers to the EU Parliament, in the same way it does to the Scottish Parliament, and can override it if it wants.

You can say 80% of our laws may come from there, but so what? They are normally of trivial importance, and the 20% at Westminster are of far more value.

A "substantial amount" is not a "majority". Thats how Parliament works man.

  • No, a substantial ammount is not a majority, but it's still important. Everyone should have an equal say in the House of Commons, whether their views are popular or not.

We are giving away our soverignty. The vast majority of our laws are decided by Brussels AND WE ARE POWERLESS TO STOP THEM! Parliament cannot override the EU, and it never will be able to.

    EU sucks-get used to it!

  • Are you braindead? I just explained to you.

The British Parliament is supreme. If tomorrow an act of Parliament was made saying "EU law no longer applied in the UK" then it would be true. The EU can't override it. Its a fact, dear.

Stop saying the majority of our laws are made there, because its just not true. And if it were true so what? The vast majority of domestic laws are in the form of Statutory instruments which are made my unelected people. But you won't moan about that will you?

  • The majority of our laws ARE decided there! It's a fact! If we decided that EU law no longer applied in the UK, then we couldn't do anything about it unless we left the EU, because while we remain in the EU we have a legal obligation to do whatever they say!

The Lisbon Treaty was forced upon us by people like Herman Van Rompuy, the unelected damp rag who nobody has every heard of. Only Ireland was allowed to vote on it, and they voted NO! And guess what? They were forced to vote again!

  • That is just simply a lie, if you'd have bothered to read the article I showed you, you would know that. So unless you can substantiate it with facts, stop saying it. Its a lie.

We stay in the EU out of choice, it is all completely voluntary, France or Germany aren't forcing us to stay!

The second Irish vote had a much higher voter turn out, and thus is far more legitimate.

The whole treaty in general is unimportant, and referenda would have been an unnecessary expense.

  • I don't care how many people voted in that referendum; the fact is that they voted no and were forced to vote again!

Yes, we stay in the EU out of choice, only because our corrupt New Liebor government refuses to address the issue!

The whole treaty in general is not unimportant. It is the treaty that introduced Herman Van Rompuy as the EU president. It was the treaty that handed over more powers to Brussels. It was the treaty that destroyed the last vestiges of our national sovereignty.

  • They voted before the financial crisis hit, which fundamentally changed Irelands outlook internationally. And so the people were offered another choice because the circumstance changed. The people decided they made the wrong decision. To disrespect that, is more undemocratic then you would care to admit.

And you forget all the governments before Labour that were happy with it before them, Tories included. They don't address the issue, because there is no issue. Only to paranoid fools like you.

  • Stop lying. You are a liar.

There is NO SUCH THING as an EU president. It is a lie to say there is.

Van Rompuy is the president of the European council, just like there is a president of the parliament, and a president of the commission. He is a chairman, he holds no executive power AT ALL.

As I've already explained, we still have national sovereignty and you have not displayed a single fact to suggest why your statement is true.

  • Van Rompuy is the president of the European council, which effectively makes him the EU president.

  • As I have already said, no it does not. Stop lying. He is a chairman. Get over it. He has no executive power at all. Quote to me the part of the Lisbon Treaty where is says he does. It'll take you a while to find it.

  • They're not exactly gonna admit it, are they? Technically, he has no executive power, but he is in effect the EU president.

Don't believe everything you read. You should know that by now.

  • Hahaha, what on Earth are you on about? "He has no executive power, but he is in effect the EU president" erm... Well then he's a pretty crap President if he doesn't have executive power haha

He is not the EU president and that is simply a lie. He sits in a room when all the heads of government get together, and he guides the discussions to make them as productive as possible (without materially contributing). It replaces the expensive system of countries hosting the presidency. It makes sense.

  • If he has no executive power then why have a president at all? Why not just keep our nation states and our elected representatives?

  • I've already explained.

The system we had before was that each of the nation states took turns to take 6 months to host the presidency and it was incredibly expensive and inconsistent. Now we have one guy do it, for much cheaper and with more consistency. It makes sense. And it also frees up the nation states time to run their country instead of worrying about being the chairman of Europe too.

And he isn't replacing the jobs of nation states or elected representatives.

  • You do your cause absolutely no favours whatsoever by following the tactics you do.

You are simply blinding repeating the sound bites that UKIP release, and you have not done one bit of research to see if any of it is actually true.

Every statement you have made can be easy proved wrong after 5 minutes on google.

Seriously, if you are going to make a point, back it up with facts, and don't just nay say, because you look a fool.

  • UKIP does not release soundbites; they release facts. How can the statement, "80% of our laws are decided in Brussels" be proved wrong? It can't, because it's true!

The Lisbon Treaty WAS forced upon us without a referendum. Ireland DID vote no and they were forced to vote again. It's a fact!

  • Yeah, and unfortunately has inflitrated the other party Id vote for... Things are getting desperate. The winds of civil war are starting in a meer breeze - a storm is coming I feel. These globalists will get whats coming to them soon.

  • What an awful, awful choice. If Islam is his primary concern then he's an idiot. It wasn't islam that caused the economic crisis, it wasn't islam that created mass public debt and spending. It wasn't islam that sold the UK out to the EU. It's not islam stealing savers money with quantative easing, it's not Islam taking your fundamental rights away.

Islam has its issues, and I fully understand the absurdity of sharia courts in the uk, but jesus UKIP, get your priorities straight.

  • Pearson is void...and too PC...

  • @leostomicek Excuse me, but a man who invited Geert Wilders to the UK is not exactly PC...

  • @LoveEuropeHateTheEU I didn't say he is an utter Frankfurt School disciple. Just that he is too 'nice' in the face of some attacks leveled on him by the media.

  • a tory. a tory, a tory.

  • you make me laugh ....after the state this country is in now ....it could be worse he could be Labour Labour Labour!!!!

We are right back to 1979 virtually bankrupt!!!

    thanks again Labour!!

  • UKIP. UKIP. UKIP.

  • I'm sure this man has a lot of knowledge, but I don't see him as a true leader, as he lacks confidence in himself and he obviously doesn't have Nigel's rethoric. I recognise that Nigel couln't do everything, but he and his party were fine being an MEP and Chairman. It's time UKIP get some seats in Wesminster, but I don't think this is a priority if you lose popularity and charisma by electing Lord Pearson as a leader.

Bad move from UKIP, I guess.

  • Lord Pearson was the only real choice, shame Nigel stepped down.

  • Krishnan Guru Murthy didn't even speak to Lord Pearson about the Swiss-style direct democracy being proposed.

Too busy getting shirty over Pearson's strong stance against radical Islam.

He's not a good interviewer. He brings his own personal views into every political interview he does when immigration's concerned.

  • My sentiments exactly.

  • ukip is going to be all about islam and immigration from now on.

    He is also against FPTP.

    UKIP sold out

  • Watch Nick Griffin. No messin.

    Vote BNP

  • If this man really was the popular choice amongst UKIP members then I guess that's the end of any electoral progress you guys were making. What an idiot. Mind you, UKIP was always going to be in trouble once Farage left. He really sold his party down the river the moment his personal stock became high enough. Ah well, can't say it's a great loss.
