There is no distinct line drawn between them, so it can be hard to tell sometimes.

The main problem with Capitalism is not the standard of living of the working class, nor is the main point of Communism raising the living standards. Rather, the problem is the inevitability of war due to financial competition over resources, and by extension due to the invention of nuclear weapons, nuclear war and armageddon. The choice at this point is either to discontinue Capitalism before this happens (through Communism) or be reduced back to barbarism because of nuclear war.

They weren't exactly canon communists, but they were command economies. World capitalism will have its problems and upset society a bit, but it will eventually get back up.

it is funny. I remember elections in the 80´s Czechoslovakia. The Communist Party would win them gaining about 99,96%, voted by cca 99,98% of those with "the right to vote". Those who wouldn´t show up at elections were visited by the voting commission at their homes. We had fun with my friends watching our parents going to the elections and we would argue about their results :-) I am always shocked by young people from the Western countries who approve of communist system, sporting Che Guevara..

You won't get rich, but you'll never go homeless. In capitalism, alot of people live on the streets cause they lose all their money trying to make it. Each system has flaws and benefits that are different from eachother. The soviet union wasn't a communist nation.

Fast food industries are selling foods that could potentualy have deadly diseases, and every time someone fights them, the just higher a hundred loyers. Look at linsay lohan, I bet you that if she wasn't rich or famouse she would be in prision, but no, she always gets out. The rich are powerful, and the poor are week. In nature it's about survival, here it's about money. Soem people would kill their own families for money.

@milkduds1001 Well every system has problems. The USSR in the 90s had massive economic issues, and so did all of Eastern Europe. They weren't exactly canon communists, but they were command economies. World capitalism will have its problems and upset society a bit, but it will eventually get back up.
Russia still has not shrugged off the legacy of its totalitarian past. The levels of bureaucracy and corruption are insane.

@michael99887766 Don't ever assume a country can just get back up. Sure we've been in rough scrapes before, but one day, America, and Capitlism in general will be gone. Everything that has a biggining has an end, and one day, the problems in the capitalist system will destroy it. It may happen a decade from now, or a century from now but it will happen. It's happened before with other goverment structures, and it will happen a hundred times again.

Socialism seems to be a kinder more delicate form of communism.
And in Germany we practice socialism, the government will take care of the people. They make sure you have money and a place to live.
But, you must do exactly what they want no matter how pointless.

it is funny. I remember elections in the 80´s Czechoslovakia. The Communist Party would win them gaining about 99,96%, voted by cca 99,98% of those with "the right to vote". Those who wouldn´t show up at elections were visited by the voting commission at their homes. We had fun with my friends watching our parents going to the elections and we would argue about their results :-) I am always shocked by young people from the Western countries who approve of communist system, sporting Che Guevara..
