They make you stand out in the cold at 5am so you are sleepy and fatigued when you're making unsound financial decisions to buy that other stuff when the 2 tv's that were on the ad are sold out already. Do what the Chinese do for the holidays. Cash and an envelope. Works for the mafia too. No long lines, and you buy what you want later, way later, like after Christmas, when stores go back in the red in their accounting books.
