One of the most beautifull thing in music is the permanent sensation of discovery. Today when I was listen to this part (Fac ut ardeat) I felt strange. How Vivaldi can literaly dancing with the notes and the soul in the most serious "mater"... with such kindness? It's unbelivable.
I know that there is a lot of enthusiasm about the "voices". About that there's no man on the earth who sings like Andreas, but in this one and today i listen Vivaldi's voice. Thank you Civileso. :)
Thank you for this! Andreas Scholl is simply amazing. That was sooooooo nice! He makes me inspired to sing here. Unfortunately, I sing bass-baritone. Can't handle this my friend! LOL! THANKS AGAIN!
No matter how often I hear this, it still pierces my soul. Set my heart ablaze with love....and the color is rich and dark and full of longing.

There may be a difference in opinion or taste but David Daniel's version is far superior. xx

This is so delightfully dark! This Vivaldi's darkest masterpiece.

Thank you so much for doing this, Civileso! I had barely heard OF the Vivaldi Stabat Mater, let alone heard it. What a treat!

I must repeat my earlier praise of your creations Civileso: this is just incredibly stimulating because it is both music for the ears and the eyes!
