  • EEEEWWWWW... That is so nasty.. I could NEVER do that..

  • koreans think everything can give you strength and stamina.

  • DAMNN THIS LOOKS TASTYYYYYYY (srs)

  • yummy yummy

  • Suck on my live cocktopus.

  • Why are people getting so serious about this? :P It's food~

  • so fuckung cruel.you are bastered in human body.you are not human

  • i came here watching supercharged mopeds....

  • @fireworkfreak100 hahahahaha

  • Hmm, humans are considered animals.... however, they are considered REALLY advanced animals. They/We should be able to understand that eating something alive is like killing something really slowly. Too much pain. This is not cannibalism, this is extremely EVIL!

  • @FinalFantasyCenter Don't you know that the food that consume now was once alive too. You are just not exposed to the killing process . Your food could be cooked alive too. Why so much fuss about this?

Today, we are not being exposed to how animals are killed and processed into food, that we only are able to view the meat packaged in clear wraps in the supermarkets, There are no struggles we see, no painful whines that we hear.. but those does happen. Pls seriously stop being very ignorant.

  • @avelocse Ignorant? Exposed?

I spent a whole year with a group of people at a camp about survival. We killed animals and ate them (Raw and cooked),we cut off animals' skin to be warm in cold weather and many other things. But the point is that we 'killed' them first.Eating something alive like that is disrespectful. To animals and nature itself. Although, the wild is cruel, it is true animals eat each other alive. But we are humans (Superior), and should act as such. Your comment is pointless.

  • @FinalFantasyCenter I wasn't talking plainly based on your experience. Yes, like you said, you killed them first. But do you actually have perfect information on how all your food was killed? No. You could be eating some food that had been killed slowly. You don't know. Fine, say if you are consicous eater you'd probably find the origins and how your food was killed, then i will have nothing to say. Do you? So my point it, you could be supporting this act unknowingly as well, therefore ignorance

  • @avelocse Ah...hmmm.... then... Yes. I agree with you. I am a bit ignorant on the subject if you put it that way. But i don't eat anything. However, i like studying animals and would love to one day cover that "ignorant" spot :)

  • Humans are superior? On what grounds? Yes, we are more intellegent than other forms of life. But claiming that we are superior, therefore we should act as such is lil unsound. And from your argument, being "superior" means that i have the power to do anything i want, and so i can, say eat an octupus alive. Pretty self contradicting right?

If you are talking about the ability of abiding moral standards and social rules, yes definitely we have the ability to do so, but not everyone abides by them

  • And just ask yourself, who created this moral standards and social rules or norms? Humans.

And humans differ from places, culture and traditions. Different cultures and traditions speaks differently. What might you socially immoral to you could be fine to them, vice versa.

Just because you grew up in your environment and are told to follow a certain norm since young, doesn't make others wrong or sinful.

  • at least the meat doesn't go to waste. killing animals for meat and then throwing away whatever doesn't sell is the worst thing. one could argue that eating animals whole and alive is 100% natural. i'd eat the octopus.

  • WTF

  • I would take it home and keep it as my pet and call it bob :)

  • its fine to eat lol

  • Are the sharp beaks removed so that one isn't bitten?

  • LMFAO! My friends ex boyfriend use to it live grasshoppers.

  • be disturbed

  • he is at disadvantage? he is black, he is AT ADVANTAGE...

  • VANILLA PASTE! VANILLA PASTE!

  • Compassion, as proven by the commenters, is a human trait, and generally, most sane humans don't enjoy slowly mutilating and perpetrating pain much unlike yourself, and if their demand is that at the very least this be killed quickly and painlessly first, I can perfectly understand it.

They have every right to voice their opinion. It makes me sick that we have people like yourself defending this country. I'd almost rather die.

  • @story762

You have the right to your opinion and I have the right to yours...

    You're an idiot.

  • @eatmeaters So you enjoy causing something pain as you eat it?

    Here's my opinion:

You're a fuckwad (just playin your game).

  • @story762

My opinion, you're ignorant. What you don't get is that every culture is different. Humans are omnivores, therefore we need eat meat for protein (the natural way). To get meat, you must kill it. It's been in the culture to eat these sorts of foods for centuries. Just because you think it is weird doesn't mean it is actually bad. And no, they don't eat it live because they enjoy their pain, they eat it live so that it's really fresh.

  • @eatmeaters Well, I think it's up in the air right now, and no, I'm not ignorant. Despite not being a vegetarian at all (I eat seafood all the time) I have researched this topic a lot. The most ancient human bodies we have now have been shown to have lived mostly on a diet of fruit and nuts and were already quite advanced. Primitive humans in Africa long ago mostly ate meat in times of desperation, such as severe drought. Recreationally eating something alive is morally completely separate.

  • omfg it isnt deadly and octopus isnt endanger species so it is fine to eat it.....

  • You scrolled down a ssoon as u saw the dolphin

  • Wow what fags, they gave the first timer the biggest one there ~_~

their ones were half the size he tried to eat.

  • i'll call PETA :)

  • I want to eat this, but don't these things have a sharp beak? Better chew fast lol.

  • Hmm.... you'know, other animals eat their prey alive.

  • OMG !!!

  • my gosh you are animals!! thats gross..

  • Eating something that is much more intelligent than yourself...

  • @StainedShuriken333 LoL but not smart enough to escape being caught :P

  • @CriticalArtBlock And neither are you. Let me ask you a few things:

    Do you believe in religion?

Do you believe that infant circumcision is right?

Do you believe that the human body is capable of properly digesting dairy?

Do you believe that the human body was designed by nature to have meat as a staple food product?

If you believe any of that, guess what: You'd be as easy to catch as that poor octopus. Only thing is, you would deserve it. So, fuck off, simple minded creature.

  • @StainedShuriken333 Now since I answered your questions would you be so kind as to answer mine? <-- that's Q1

Q2 Do you believe that through the comments of others you know all about that person?

I don't, I think you're a nice person who cares for animals and I truly respect that

Q3 Do you believe that humans really aren't meant to eat meat, or is that just you?

I think you shouldn't eat meat, because it bothers you and I respect that. -___^

I eat meat, because it's so tasty

    That's all :P

  • @StainedShuriken333

As for whether I deserve getting caught or not, I guess I would if I died. Survival of the Fittest Baby!

If you think I'm simple minded you're pretty simple minded yourself :P because I'm sure if you met me we'd be really good friends. You just wouldn't know it was me till I signed in to Youtube.

I just think it's funny that you feel so strongly to attack my intelligence, to each his own. I'm a very peaceful guy, but I enjoy a good tiff with people from time to time.

  • @StainedShuriken333 I don't know what the first three questions have to do with each other, but since I'm bored, I'll answer your questions.

Religion = I believe that it exists

Infant Circumcision = I think I would be happier if I was circumcised as an infant... hurts... (I hope you're a girl so I'll understand why you don't understand.)

Dairy = yes I don't seem to have issues

Meat = I don't know about you but it turns to poo after I'm done with it -____^

  • @StainedShuriken333 LoL at least I'll have a better shot at fighting back than that octopus :P

  • ewwwwwww nasty fuckers...

  • Kendo is Japanese lol

  • So sick of bleeding heart hippies and stupid people calling this immoral and sinful and wrong. Get over it. Life isnt a Disney story where you sing and birds help you with the dishes. Go cry somewhere else.

  • @Sa1viA you don't have to be a hippie or be stupid to see the wrongfulness of this. just because animals (other than humans) can't speak, build, or invent doesn't mean they can't feel pain.

an octopus wouldn't feel as much pain as humans do, but it doesn't mean it feels nothing. animals inevitably will feel pain when they are killed (well, for the most part), but eating and an animal is inflicting unnecessary pain for the sake of better taste. sometimes uniqueness in a culture can go too far.

  • @mtan134 Welcome to the world. Do bears quickly kill humans before eating them? I dont think so. Do gators just quickly kill prey before eating them? No, infact they allow the prey to rot before eating it. Imagine how that feels. We are all animals on this planet. Killing just for the kill is the only animal on animal violence that i see as wrong because it is wasteful. In this dish there is actually much less going to waste. Anyone who wants to cry for the poor little prey can go ahead.

  • @mtan134 please dont judge our culture, theirs videos about farm animals getting butchered why don't you comment your view at them.

  • @Sa1viA You basically said anyone with their humanity intact is a moron, and that this is an immoral act since it is incongruent with an idealistic setting. It doesn't matter if life isn't a Disney story, this can easily be prevented. People simply have to stop doing it. Are you saying that we shouldn't bother with removing anything bad because otherwise it's idealism? So we shouldn't bother reducing rape or child abuse? Killing animals doesn't have to and shouldn't be a part of reality.

  • @LordAngus1992 Ill start from the bottom. What does child abuse and rape have to do with eating weird shit? I wont even acknowledge that. Killing animals DOES have to happen and SHOULD be a part of reality. For health reasons obviously (and dont push those BS vitamin sup that vegans eat, I wont do it). Also lets consider population control. I will agree that there are better ways to run slaughter houses (more humane) but for F's sake animals eat animals. Heres some tissues.

  • Koreans are gay for eating this.

  • this is a sin!

  • unacceptable

  • To all the people saying "This is the way it is". Come the fuck on. would you rather be eaten alive or killed first and then eaten? Mammals usually do kill their meat first. And animals do a lot of things that humans don't. Just because they happen to do it because they must, doesn't mean we have to do it as well.

  • Westerners always try to push their standards to everyone else, if you think eating animals alive is wrong, then dont eat it... it's that simple. Wanna see cruel? Do a search "KFC chicken cruelty" here on youtube, then you can see your food is treated even worse than those octopuses.

  • ...this is cruel.

  • @becaro0nie it would be as cruel if it was dead

  • @becaro0nie This is as cruel as a shark eating a fish in the wild alive. Learn to accept how life works.

  • 0:55 With eight arms and over a thousand fuckers.

  • I once ate a live octopus when I was on a school trip. Man it was tasty and my other friends were chickens and they didn't want to eat it, but I ordered one and ate it !!!

  • man im freakin Korean and i even think Koreans believe in some crazy shit! I would never try this! Strength and Stamina from eating live octopi? Give me a break.....

  • THAT NIGGA BITCHED IT

  • I'm eating a living pig with breakfast every day!

Before eating,i put a rubberband around the snout...

i don't wanna wakeup the neighbours!

  • @brandooriginalhack I never said it was millions of years ago now, I'm just simply stating that people resorted to eating these things because they had nothing else to eat. It became part of their culture because it became essential to their lives, and, today, it's become a symbol of strength. Why would they throw away this part of their culture? Just because it's seen as "disrespectful" towards the animal? In what way is it disrespectful anyway? They're not wasting anything, it's being eaten.

  • 1:38 Koreans believe eating live octopus is a way to build strength and stamina?

And I thought Americans believed in some dumb crap.

  • i would never, eweweweweeww

  • I love all meat but you can't eat live animal wtf?

  • I don't know why i'm hungry !

  • I thought this was about Korean cuisine culture.

so why is it talking about the japanese sport of kendo and

is showing an american eating things?

  • 4:07 LOOOOKS LIKE A MEME!!!!!!!

  • cut ones are yummy

  • When you eat live octopus, can you feel it squirming in your stomach? Just asking a question to anyone who has, I never have and don't intend to, I prefer my tentacles as calamari.

  • @SnoozersDog DUDE! I want some calamari right now!

  • *Vommit*

  • 4:07

  • that's what she said at 3:23

  • Calling this 'culture' doesn't negate the cruelty of the practice. Footbinding was cultural at one time too, but that doesn't magically make it OK. Pain and suffering don't go away by slapping on the label 'traditional' or 'cultural'.

  • @dd8630

Okay, well I'm pretty sure you have probaly killed a few insects in your days, what's the difference?

  • @05lele Any insect I killed was accidental, or to prevent harm to myself or others. Eating live squid is deliberately and unnecessarily causing harm to the creature.

  • @dd8630 food's food! It would get dissolved in your stomach acid nonetheless. If you care that much might as well go vegan. Obviously it's a matter of preference, don't like it stay away.

  • @V3NOMXIII Except, of course, it's not a matter of preference. The squid suffers, and that is objectionable. Meat in the West is pretty dead by the time it comes to your plate - any objection to that is the method of slaughter. Things like stunning or bolt methods of slaughter don't cause the animal to suffer. Eating it while it's still alive, that would cause it to suffer. And, as if it needed saying, suffering is bad.

  • @dd8630 it IS a matter of preference that's why people have a choice of eating it or not at all, and Korean restaurants here in the States do serve this dish WITHOUT any objections, I believe there's one such restaurant called the Prince in LA that's pretty popular...and no matter what method of slaughter is used the animal always suffers in the end, even if the animal is rendered unconscious before the kill it doesn't change that fact. After all its life is sacrificed so somebody can be fed.

  • i wanna kill you fucking chinese u are so so so cruel i wanna kill u tbh u know?

  • @5tristanvm Korean*. Dipshit.

  • calamari is good. it's crunchy and chewy and salty n great

this is a squirming gooey wet gut/waste gushing live thing in your mouth.

  • guys indians are asians too but we dont do this nasty thinks ,,,,,btw almost 70% indians are vegans

  • a lot of torture can be waved off if called 'culture'. footbinding was culture too

  • hm weird I thought kendo was Japanese

  • 0:30 Bob Marley's Face octi's eye.

  • If its fried.., i would eat it.

  • Gross. I wouldn't be comfortable eating something that slimy and alive.

  • Looks natural to me. People are animals too. Fish don't care if it's "humane" when they eat a live octopus. That's life; That's nature.

  • Koreans are fucked up. They consume more dogs than goat. Sick bastards.

  • ethnocentric douches man :-/

  • man u know whats ignorant that u say its part of their culture?

If im right budism/hiduism is part of their culture(religion as wel)

And that religion is bassed on respecting other living beings....

Fish,Insect or all other liviing beings....

For Example : An Extreme Satanist in Germany killed a baby of 7 months old for an satanic ritual....

    ITS PARTH OF HIS CULTURE!!!

We need to accept that as wel?

the most ignorant one here is u....

Human,Animal doesnt mather atleast show some respect

  • @DutchLatinBoy buddhism and hinduism are indian religions. A majority of indians are vegetarians. In korea, they are either christians or buddhists. The buddhists monks are vegans, wheras for some of the buddhists that are korean, they just uphold some of the buddhism concepts and what they can make USE of from this concept, and in some branch's of buddhism, they dont tolerate eating meat, but some do, because the notion of eating meat ISN'T a moral contribution within its certain branch.

  • @DutchLatinBoy Culture does not mean Religion. That is only a PART of their culture, You think a fish cares about your culture when they bite your leg, no not really.. Nature goes both ways.

  • And I agree, it is way to slimy to eat it whole... but chopped up and dipped in sesame seed oil or red pepper paste... mm mmm goood!!

  • I used to eat this when I was little!! NEVER whole though... most people actually eat it chopped up and ofcourse I would not eat it without good sauce to go with it. Give it a try, better than sushi

  • at 0:25 seconds , you know she swallows . lol

  • he should have eaten it...he's a lil bitch

  • Jesus what morons

  • @diannaDIANNAx the plural of octopus is octopuses, not octopi

  • when it said tenticles i heard "testicles"

  • HELL TO THE NO

  • did anyone heard someone vomited at 1:01?? thumbs up if u heard 8.

  • @ninjagirl625

    LOL!!

  • @ninjagirl625 Yeah it sounds like Chunk from The Goonies.

  • devil

  • f&cking asian - go to hell

  • ...ew.

  • I couldnt do it. I choke on bread. If I tried to eat this, I would totally choke to death. -___-' & I'm NOT taking any risks.

  • imagine if you're octupus

  • effing sick shit

  • i though kendo was a japanese sword art??

  • hmmmm dont know about this... rather have it boiled in a seaweed salad, better yet salt and pepper style, with a side of steamed rice, lime and hot oil.. now thats a dish...

  • 2:48 duuuuuuuuude's hot!

  • octopi are provably almost as intelligent as dolphins, and they are the most intelligent invertabrites on the planet. They are self aware, problem solving, and empathic. They also have separate nervous systems for each tentacle, so he would feel being eaten even after having severed his limbs.

  • that reminds me of star wars....... i think "jabba the hut" or one of his dudes eaten the same in this film

(sry for english if you find a mistake - i am not a native speaker)

  • what is wrong with these fuckin retards

  • This is just stupid, disgusting, and unnecessary.

  • Pussy

  • 1:00 someone puked lol

  • One of the related videos is "Cute Puppy in Korea"... i'm deathly afraid to click it...

  • See im totaly into eating and trying new things but this....this is crazy talk not because it is alive or because it is whole...but becuase of the beak. Fuck that thing.

  • The Japes are something from hinder! I hope that gets stuck the Octopus in the neck and he dies out.

  • Arghhhhhh yuck

  • I would try living squid, but not octopus. what does this say about me? is there perhaps an ancient Korean saying that relates to this?

  • Or with other words they're shitty cooks!

  • Nah, I don't like it, too painful, doesn't require cooking skills, even raw fish sashimi requires chef who can make good cuts. Doubt raw octopus tastes any good.

  • It's incredibly ignorant of some of these people to comment and say things like, "Asians are so disgusting". Eating live foods is just part of their culture, plus, I doubt that millions of years ago people willingly went out and scarfed down live octopus. It was because they had nothing else to eat... I'm sure if you were really starving you would just about eat anything, be it insects, dogs, cats, or octopi.

  • @diannaDIANNAx Belive it or not but there's something called vegetable and fruit and millions of years ago they had plenty! You now what else was part of the culture; burning witches and killing babies! Fuck All Y'all

  • @diannaDIANNAx

And I doubt the blonde girl at the beginning of the video is Asian.

  • @diannaDIANNAx can you eat them too when you're starving? hmm?

  • @diannaDIANNAx : umm yeah, but we are not starving yet, so fuck the raw food and Asians.

  • @diannaDIANNAx Millions of years ago there weren't any people in the world.

  • @Ghost3533 Our ancestral Hominids were here 2 million years ago... Homo sapiens migrated out of Africa approximately 2.5 million years ago. So, yes, there were people in the world millions of years ago.

  • @WolfsHelm You mad, bro?

  • I think it's smart. Super smart.

  • i hope the octupus choke all these korean mother fuckers, fucking dicks, if you want strength and stamina, why not eat protein, such as eggs, argh, i hate them so much! first dogs, then live octupus :@

  • Slimy.......but...satisfying....

    AHHHH DISNEY DONT SUE MEEEEEEE!

  • im sorry, but i like my stuff dead.

  • I've always wondered when people eat things whole, doesn't that mean they're also consuming the waste inside them too?

  • poor octopuses

  • Fate schifo...shit!

  • Hit 7 quickly over and over for gay porn.

  • Asco total.

  • regurgitate it up and say its slimy i want a new one

  • where are the dogs?

  • kendo = gay kung fu = ownage

  • thy r soo fucked up , honestly who thinks eating a fecking live octopus is and different from a dead 1 honestly i swear they r retards or summing

  • @ox141jf you are a freak go and cut your wrists or shoot your baby in the face

  • @TooonBeeHD funny how you say im the freak then you go suggest your daily activities for me....

  • @ox141jf freak nuff said.

  • @TooonBeeHD As much is i love listening to your autobiography ... i feel its my duty to tell you, NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOU SAD-ASS

  • @ox141jf yep all 6 of your subs give a fuck about you...emo

  • @TooonBeeHD hHres the thing, i dont go on you tube for followers or self loving emo's who fail at insults(that you) i go on it to uhh idk watch videos , so why dont you get it into your head that eating something alive is fucked up! , doesn't matter if they r non sentent, all creatures have a natural fear and being rapped on chop stick is included so how about you reply when you come up with an actual reason as to why eating live animals is morally acceptable and not bullshit mystical stuff.

  • @ox141jf lol uMad emo?

  • @TooonBeeHD nice reason, both took you a while and has feck all to do with anything but yourself again

honestly i know u r a stereo typical American but this is something else, my statement stands, reply when your IQ reaches 1 and you have a THOUGHT THROUGH reason for the argument you started.

seeing as are the stereo typical American, the question was, A reason as to why the eating of live animals isn't fucked up.

  • @ox141jf OK it is immoral to eat any living thing while it is still living it a matter of respect and principle something an ignorant dumb ass (like you) would not understand.
