Steins gate is that Avant-Garde Style of anime... yes it does have alot of females... but they arent of the same type or typical leads... they have character that would blend in to a Real Life situation, coupled with few extraordinary circumstances and characters just to make the anime less bland. overall, steins gate is a genius work of art although some concepts remain profound. strive to be unique is enough... especially that they show it.

I mean it ties up EVERY loose end and leaves us with a happy ending, Evangelion just leaves me wondering "OK, what the hell just happened?" Watching stuff like Berserk,NHK,Gantz,Claymore etc...iv'e gotten a bit mind numb or something i guess. The only part i suprisingly got creep-ed out was when MINOR SPOILER SERN sent Okarin a msg saying you know too much with a bloody head picture.

@ArmanCortez1 Well for me, it fucks with my mind with just the thought of time travel. Like, is it possible? And, the pieces did fall into place but it was so unexpected (for the most part) and really gets deep into your mind. Just the thought of the Divergence 1% and the Butterfly Effect and... well, a lot of it. It's a lot to take in.

But I agree with you, the bloody head was very creepy. And I'm not really sure what the point of it was... besides to scare.

@deathroll20 Sadly, it will be a very long time until we may witness the masterpiece in English. Looking at the Haruhi Suzumiya movie, it came out in Feburary and was released Dec 18th later that year and then it took a few weeks to translated. Not only do we need to wait for this to be made, we need to wait for it to be released on DVD and then translated... so it is better to just try to forget about it for now and then one day you'll see it there and empty your bowls in excitement.

i must say its just an amazing anime thriller all together. watched 1-12 and im already blown off my feet. and another thing i love is the comedy on it, it doesnt make the characters do crazy body animations like other animes do, i always thought that took away from the seriousness. best new anime this summer in my opinion XP havent seen something like this since death note or code geass. ii must have more><

Just about 99-98% of the time, this situation would be a harem and would involve some sort of fan service, but as TelilaX2 said, that isn't the case. Stein's;Gate is too serious of a show and it's main attraction is that it's a true Sci-Fi anime involving examples of real scientific theories instead of just showing mechs flying around in space destroying each other.
