Yes, gmod is probably better than Crysis in terms of the amount of things you can possibly do. But you have to admit that the physics in Crysis is better. The level of collisions involved in this video will crash Gmod. (And you can't spawn that many items in gmod without crashing it in the first place).

Ok, I think what you need to do is:

1: open crysis editor

2: open your map or whatever

3: Go to view open view pane database view

4:press the folder on the left hand side

5:double click on props, and in here you can change the view distance like in the video.

some objects in the demo (well...almost all objects in the game) are restricted so you can't use them in the game because it's a demo (can't have all objects can't ya?)

no, they just aren't there because it's the demo, you only download some of the objects, so the ones that aren't included in the demo are shown as yellow spheres are the ones without a model or entity settings.

Yep, any explosion barrell can. (Red Barrel). Not sure if you have to set the physcis to higher than low.

Get a barrel, press control shipt and on top of another bareel. Make sure the first bareel is selected.

Go to View, Database View. The database view will pop up, you should by default be on the "Entity" tab. Underneath the Entity Tab, you'll see a folder icon, click it. You'll then see some libraries. Double click them one by one, until you've done them all. You can then exit the database view, and go back to the main view. Go back into the RollUpBar, choose Archetype Entities, and it should be populated!
