My gerbils do this all the time but once on Christmas I came down and they were really fighting and there was blood and some fur ripped out :0

gerbils great companions to eatchother make great fathers with babies.
well i breed syrian hamsters they are very terretorial especialy females she bites my male i breed them though but keep in seperate cages

my gerbils always do that they are not FIGHTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is a difference the last time i checked

you shouldn't have that kind of wheel in their cage. Their tale can get caught and rip off.
